League of Legends (LoL) Question: Message upon logging in

    Okay so I just logged into league, and a message popped up saying "congrats you got promoted to Silver V" or something, but when I check my profile (currently silver I in league series） nothing was changed.

    Just wondering if anyone has had something like that happen before?

    There have been tons of display bugs with the relatively new league system.

    One of my gold friends randomly after winning a game was told he was promoted to Bronze III.

    I believe Crs Voyboy had a game in which he won yet the display said that he lost LP after the game.

    All of these so far have been display bugs with no actual problem. Thus, if it didn't change on your profile I wouldn't worry about it.

    Were you promoted to Silver V in a 3s or 5s ranked team?

    no, every team is still the same status.
