Safe ranked picks

I've been doing pretty mediocre in ranked lately after i got myself into bronze V during a patch of irrational thinking and i was wondering if there are any really safe picks to carry games that last any length. I've been looking at Mordekaiser but i just don't think he's the right choice. Any suggestions?

All of these picks are both relatively safe and can carry games pretty easily. :]

how does varus counter draven? out ranged?

yeah that's why I only play him with my duo partner so I know someone will peel for me so i can keep the damage up

Draven can win lanes easily, it's true, but I picked the list I gave you by safety the entire game+carrying ability. Draven can be punished more easily in team fights than the three carries I suggested. :p

Yeah it's annoying when i vs a Varus but i don't see many in bronze; i play Draven becuase whenever i adc im with a friend on skype and he plays Leona so cait is an easy lane for me then.

I use Varus as a Draven counter. :p

Thanks it does and i might need to invest in some of these. Although Elise just puts me off (arachnophobic) and I'm not the greatest with Varus (I prefer Draven)

for mid, i would also say and . basically look on the tier list that throatleasher makes every week or so.

kk I'll do that I started playing Ryze and was pretty good and I main Lux but never get to mid anymore.

^ I agree. hate to disagree with the banana but for bronze V you need to consider his skillz. outside of what satella said thresh and yorick also take some skillz.

MF is not a safe pick, neither is Amumu. TF/Orianna's skillcap is too high for somebody in Bronze V.

I'm pretty good with Taric so it's ok when i get stuck with support but I'm gonna have to save more for either adc and i fail epicly as Orianna, also Amumu is instabanned as well as Hecarim, TF shouldnt be a problem either. Thanks for the help
