League of Legends (LoL) Question: Does Tribunal make you sad?

    Does Tribunal make you sad?

So, I've started doing Tribunal and sadly, there are those guys whose chat logs look like they were the only on speaking in that team. Another sad thing is that there are so many reported people so I can vote 20 times a day :(

Is this the real LoL community?

    And another question:

If someone insults someone, should they actually know how to write like, words they use?

For example I see I lot of "tema", "idoit", "retartid", "acehol", "skrup", "you re mum".

I don't think it's an insult if someone calls me an "acehole".

    EDIT: You is that, Yoda?

I had a case with someone reported by the enemy for going Blue-Build Ezreal because "it's such a boring champ". I really wanted to pardon the guy, but he kind of shoved his foot in his mouth in the later reports.

I always laugh when people insult with broken English. It is even worse when people start insulting you in their own language, even though you know what they mean :)

This is really more of a forum thread question, rather than a simple Q & A.

Having said that, I've found the Tribunal to be some of the most amusing times Riot could give me other than LoL games.

I just went to check myself, people only insulted others like 2-3 times and the insults weren't even that bad.. "Noob" "idiot" "no map awareness" etc..
When it gets to extreme cases like insulting someone based on religion, race, nationality etc or just plain continuous insults in an attempt to keep harassing a player THEN I report.
It's completely normal to snap and throw out an insult here and there imo.. we're all human after all.

I went into the Tribunal one day as a judge.

Scared me off of PvP forever. I know it's the Tribunal, so they're gonna be toxic as they're reported...but that many cases? With that many insults?

I was actually considered merciful by Tribunal standards. I had a very low case accuracy b/c I pardoned people when I thought they had a "toxic day" and weren't actually bad people.

    I'll go back to my bot games ;u;

The punish button isn't a ban. If the person was just having a bad day and aren't a toxic player, they'll get a warning. Only the repeat offenders get more serious penalties. Don't be afraid to punish someone when they break the summoner's code, they'll get whatever they deserve judging by their report history.

Only a few percent of the players out there has ever been to the tribunal, left alone being punished by it.
