Views: 1657 Gragas vs Orianna

Hello everyone, it's my first post here and I wanted some opinions as to what champion for mid lane I should get next; Orianna or Gragas. The criteria I would like to be used for the choosing is:
-Ability to carry
-Teamfighting potential and utility
-Late game relevance
-Early roaming potential
-Safeness
-Usefulness in Solo Queue

I think a well placed
Orianna however, is ranged, making early game farm and harass more safe. She can definately carry with the amount of damage she brings on the table. Her abilities are all AoE, has an AoE cc and also has an shield, which grants her more teamfight potential.
Gragas is melee, making early game farm and harass a bit less safe. He is incredibly mobile due to a incredible short CD on his body slam. All his abilities are AoE, just like Orianna, but he might have a bit more gamechanging ultimate. His ultimate can bring just as negative as positive result in a teamfight, meaning that it is a bit harder to use.
I myself do not really play Gragas atm, I still play Orianna here and there however. Imo, Orianna is a more fun champion to play due to all those tricks she can do. However, Gragas is a big fatty guy who throws barrels and has the mobility of rocket, which is also fun in its way :3
