Views: 6167 Best gaming computer for the money?
|
Tax time is coming up, so I'm going to have a little bit of extra money that I would like to spend on a new computer. Currently I have a Windows 7 HP Pavilion G4 with 4 GB of RAM and a 265 GB hard drive with a 15 inch display. It's not the best computer in the world for gaming, but the only game I play these days is League. I'm looking for a computer that would welcome exceptional League game play while having nice specifications for social networking, e-mail, and things of the sort. I've thought about going with a Lenovo IdeaPad. My first choice was a Macbook Pro 13 but after some very helpful feedback I've decided that it may not be the best choice, lol. If anyone can give me some tips I would be so thankful. Also, I do NOT know ANYTHING about building computers, so that option is out the window.
I'm running an HP EliteBook 8570w with a 16GB RAM upgrade (from 8GB). Intel core i7, Windows 7 64-bit, AMD FirePro M4000. Not sure how big my display is, but I'm running 1920x1080 res and I have a 465GB hard drive.
However, if you're just running League, I'd just make sure your processor and graphics card are decent. Your internet connection is probably more important than your hardware.
Some days I'm playing league with skype running, and my internet speed is less than 100kb/s :3 I don't lag or fap out or anything, but it's advised to have around 1mb/s

Wow.
This is a "real" laptop. Two graphics cards, latest processor, 16GIG RAM? Wow man. Read some reviews to see if you can find a weak spot on that one. I think it even can plau bf4 or at least bf3 xD
Great find, will run lol at Max with 100fps in an intense teamfight.
I've heard that Intel Hd 4k is a hundred times stronger, but take that with a grain of salt. I'd recommend that over an 3k thou. Then again, dedicated graphics are a lot better, aka generally any Nvidia/AMD card you can find.
I can't load the webpage for some reason :(
Just as an fyi, league can be played on most pcs. As long as you don't play bf4/planetside you will most likely do fine. I'll look up that laptop.
can confirm, my laptop is garbage and it runs league just fine.
