So I started playing League back in March, and I've come a looooooOOOOOoooooong way. I always thought that I would suck but when I started getting better I KEPT getting better! I want to get into Ranked, but I've played Ranked before and most of the people that play are so rude, and it's kinda discouraging. Not to mention the threats. If you do ONE thing, and I mean ONE thing wrong you get reported. I think that's ridiculous. I wish League didn't even have a report system. When your whole team is on your *** about everything you do, how are you supposed to get better? How are you supposed to have fun? A lot of people need to keep in mind that League is just a game. Games are supposed to be fun. Everyone was unskilled at one point in time, and everyone had to learn in their OWN TIME. No need to be so hateful over a video game. Sheesh.

About reports - ofc you get reported. Kids takes losses very hard and if the team is loosing, often they get toxic, threatens the whole team and start flaming with "report XY". If that happens, just use that nice "mute" button.
If I may be of any advice - don't play alone in solo Q. Plenty of ******s, trolls and rage kids around that will destroy the game, and whole experience for you. (my story: went to Silver 2 after provisionals, with 6 wins out of 10 games. Now my ratio is 12 wins after 29 matches - I lost about 13 matches in a row, because people were flaming, or in mid game decied to feed intentionally or whatever. Only few times I was outplayed properly, all the other losses were due to inconsistent team, afk/leavers or because someone went rambo and always was doing 1v3 or such. I'm on my way to Silver 5 now :D).
- Find some friend who is at least as good as you, so you will be 2 good players in one team and have a decent chance to win.
- Never expect help from team mates, and if you see someone is caught 1v3 (or more) and noone is around, run. Don't try to save him or you will die as well.
- Learn how to carry the game, when to split push, which objectives are important and other basic tactics, then execute them when needed.
