Views: 2280 When does an Opinion matter? Not in League of Legends

Considering that alot of people decided recently to make me out to be a bad person for something that was not even a bad thing I have decided to write a blog about it.
Firstly here is the deal for those who may not know what happened, there was a thread discussing Teleport and someone mentioned that 'Clarity' had absolutely no use in the game - Now I didn't quite agree with this statement and merely offered my view on that some subject like a normal person would expressing my view that Clarity was not as "useless" as it was being out to be.
Now I feel that was a genuine opinion that should have been respected by all even if it was not one that people agreed with however instead alot of the community once again decided that not only should I be ridiculed for having my own opinion (again) but also I should be insulted for actually speaking because, and I loosely quote, I am a bronze player so I know absolutely nothing.
This is something that seems to be happening alot to me on Mobafire and whether you think I deserve for being a "Bronze IV player" here is a news flash...You are WRONG because no person including myself deserves to be treated like **** just because they have an opinion that is different to your own even if that opinion is different to 100,1000 or even million other people in the forums.
What makes me more mad is that it seems like in this community that if you are harassed, bullied, ridiculed or even threatened by a member then its perfectly fine but dare you stand up for yourself and not allow people to do something like that against you then you will be classed as a bad member of the community...I mean seriously I saw the messages before the thread got locked seemingly trying to place the blame solely on my shoulders (again) when they should have been looking at themselves and realising they had ruined the thread themselves by not accepting another persons opinion.
Now before I finish I will put out that I accept people disagreed and I did listen (unlike the others) to what people had to say about the use of clarity but thats the different between myself and some of the member of the community here - I was prepared to listen to their opinion whilst members were quick to dismiss my opinion as the rambling of someone stupid just because of my Rank in the game.

This is a perfect example of what I meant by manipulating words. He didnt insult you, he simply told everyone to stop since reasoning with you is not working.

when has anyone tried to reason with me? I have had to sit here trying to prove that I have been listening to everyone, that I am not playing a victim nor am I this horrible person that nearly everyone on Mobafire pretends I am.
You guys are not reasoning with me...It is I who is trying my best to reason with you all to stop this unfair treatment once and for all.
You would know that if you actually listen to me and read what I said instead of being blinded by what others say.

You know what? If people don't want to believe in me thats fine but if you can't believe in me then shut up and stop trying to make me doubt myself just because none of you have the same amount of confidence as I have nowadays.

You have never once had a nice thing to say to me, No matter what I say whether its positive or negative you will go out of your way to make sure I am kicked to the lowest point possible and I am seriously tired of it.
You accuse me of not Listening to you and yet you are so caught up in treating a decent, hard working person like myself who has done nothing but try their hardest to learn how to play well like a pile of **** that most of the time it is only you who doesn't listen to a single word said to you.
You know full well I do listen, you are not that stupid that you can not see or read that its clear I listen to everyone around me but you still insist on pretending that I am some arrogant so and so and that really hurts because even though you have continued to be a absolute ******* to me I have done nothing but respect you as a person and all I get from you is questioning why I bother to show you that kind of respect in the first place.
End of the day, I am mentally disabled I am officially a "******", No matter what I do I will make mistakes and it will be down alot of the time to my conditions theres nothing I can do about that but you do not have those problems at all, You are intelligent and you don't have any real need to sit around and act like a ******, you can listen, you can learn as much as you teach others so why do you feel the need to act like one?
and do not worry its not just you, Xichi decided to be like "you didn't learn and you never will" and they were wrong because they haven't spoken to me in almost 6 months and haven't got a clue what improvements I have made or has any idea what they are talking about when it comes to me because they just turn a blind eye to how hard I am trying.
Now I am still showing you all the respect I can but its about time you return that respect in one of two ways...you can either start talking to me as a person who is trying to learn, you can give me advice and help me to improve or you can read this message and respectful accept you have been wrong about me and move on leaving me alone to listen to other high tier players who are happy to help me because they do see the effort I make.

You wanna know where the quote "disrespect" comes from Sirell? Its from the fact that even though I am actually trying my best to learn and to take in advice from everyone around me you still feel that you need to put me down and that is what is disrespectful to me.
