Which champ should I use?

I normally prefer ranged DPS, but I used Jax and went 24-4-15 in a 30's normal game..not premade.

I can adapt well to really any champion and I'm amazing at any skillshot (mundo's cleave, etc.)

Basically I want to know if there is a ranged champ that can harass early game and be deadly mid-late game that isn't too squishy.

Build them as you wish to not be squishy. They are both very deadly and have very important skillshots. If you suck at skillshots, Kennan will have trouble stunning anything and Nid will have huge problems finishing off enemies.
