haha i like your comparison to driving on the left :P
To run a thread start to finish or finish to start is always a topic of debate. Those who follow the thread will like it best if new posts are first, those who browse more and read threads through will prefer it runs first to last.
What we could do is setup an option on profiles to set reading of builds to "first to last" or "last to first" so you can choose?
This will likely not come soon as Matt has a list of little things the size of Texas to get through right now and I am just a lowly designer :) but if it would work for you let me know and we will add it to the list. If more people want this, post, as the more people who ask, the higher up the list an issue goes

"There's a joke here somewhere, and its on me."
Yea the comments should always show on 1st page the NEWEST not the oldest comments, it is same as redirection to the topic on the forum to 1st not last post that you are interested in.
It will come soonish.
It will come soonish.

You need to log in before commenting.
But why don't you turn it all around? Like new posts will show up first at the guide page instead of 5-month old posts that literally means nothing. That would make it easier to reply and read new posts, I mean it's only natural that you get a system like that.
Now it's like driving on the left-side, it's just not right.
EDIT: The exception goes to threads, that makes a bit more sence with the original post.
