Don't know Smite's tanks very well, but some fun tanks would be Nasus, Singed and Cho'Gath

Singed is such a troll. He is fun to use and just run around late game when no one can kill you. Of course you have to build him up to that, but so much fun once you do.

Going with the 1350 and under champs, you can try any of the following:

Malphite
Alistar
Amumu
Nasus
Tryndamere
Udyr
Warwick
Singed
Dr. Mundo
Cho'Gath
Garen

I would honestly just use Malphite, Nasus, Singed, Cho'Gath, or Garen. The rest take a little more knowledge of the game, IMO.

Also, check out the guide posted at the top of the forum: http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/finding-your-fit-champion-selection-195871

Garen's a good pick. He has a great passive to stay in lane, and just stacks the **** outta tankiness. He's also SUPER freakin' easy, 450 IP to purchase, and a total beast early game.

Singed is slightly more complicated (COMPLETELY different playstyle than most other champs), but is an absolute blast. One of my first champs, but the playstyle tends to focus more on being annoying, harassing other champs, and spamming his laugh. Complete hilarity ensues.
