Jungling is one of those roles that requires a huge amount of map and situational awareness. Sometimes its right to go for a gank, sometimes its right to keep clearing. What jungler are you playing? Shen wants to just get lvl six asap and countergank. Shyvana wants to clear her camps and then go mess with the enemy jungler. It really depends on what is happening in game, and what champion you are playing.
Maybe help us out by telling us the champs you normally jungle.

I've been trying a lot of junglers actually, since I couldn't really find my "main" champion. Though I'd say I jungle a lot with Evelynn, Zac and I'm trying to learn how to play Nunu as well. I think these champions aren't really similar though, sadly...
nunu is a great counter jungler...put yourself ahead and put them behind. when you go for ganks you hit the enemy with your slow and blood boil your teammate who does the damages. lvl 6 will dramatically improve your ganks.
evelynn is different. her clear is much slower. ganks are more about bursting the enemy versus helping your lane secure the kill.
zac is a gank monster...so much potential in coming from all sorts of angles. he is the tankiest out of the 3 you mentioned...similar to nunu in that he does more ap damage. definitely good for clear and ganks.
when to gank and when to farm is really based on experience and feel for the game. if your lanes are pushing you probably want to farm UNLESS you can predict the enemy ganking. counter ganking can be very effective.
when your lanes are pushed back you can usually gank..even if you are not successful in killing the enemy you can at least let your lane sustain and farm more than if you let them get pushed to tower and miss CS.
just some general tips. but yeah the more I play jungler the more I can kind of sense when it is a good time to gank or a good time to farm...lot of it just comes with experience. don't be that jungler that just goes in and feeds the enemy though just cause you feel you have to gank...that can really put your lanes behind.

I'm Flip-Flap, or Spyronne (my IGN), and I'm trying to improve at jungling, since it's the role I'm enjoying the most.
Though, I find myself losing a lot of ranked games as a jungler (not all, though). So I'm looking for some general tips you guys could share with me.
For example, I never know if I should clean the jungle a lot, or try hard ganks, with a low suceed-rate. What to do when I got all the jungle camps ? Should I pressure the lane more even though there's still some gold waiting for me in the jungle ?
Thanks to those who will answer me, and have a nice day everyone !
