play some games vs bots and the tutorial like Satella said - after you know how your champion's skills work start playing some PVPs ... try to ignore the negativity
try lots of different champs in different roles... there are some good youtube channels dedicated to LoL that might help and maybe ask friends that play lol to give you some pointers when they are in game with you.
the fact is most lvl 30s including myself are actually relatively noobish - at times i get just beaten silly by people with 1200+ wins and what not - its all a learning curve as long as you enjoy it.. it will all come to you
Also - read some guides on your champions - if it s good duide it, it will help you a lot

1st of all.
Leave mid for som1 that can carry the game (more or less a skillful player that can bring his team to victory on his own or with just help from teammates). Also it is quite important to lasthit creeps on middle line and i bet you are not yet a master on that matter.
Playing as Ashe you should be on bottom line but as you are probably lvling from 1-30 you can also go top (if there is no jungler in your team).
That is that as for positioning.
1st focus on learning to lasthit minions without taking damage from your enemies.
As AD Carry this will be your main job for quite some time in the game.
Playing with bots is a good way to learn that but dont focus on killing those bots, just learn how to lasthit minions for free gold. Killing bots is uber easy and will not give you any expirience on killing other human beings.
Also if you are playing with other ppl in a normal game and they call you a newb... just ignore it since they are probably bigger newbs than you. They dont know the basic rule of "****ING NOT FLAMING!!!" coz this kind of activity brings more destruction to the team than accualy feeding if you ask me. Not even talking about the thing that if they were placed with you... that means they are more or less about your skill lvl :D So chill out and learn. Any1 that calls other person a newb while he is going on the path from 1 to 30 is a ****** anyway, report them after the game instead.
Try other champions. Dont stick to one for a very long time while you are lvling up your summoner lvl.
Read about your enemies. Try to memorize their skills. This will give you a huge advantage, knowing what you can do to them AND knowing what they can do to you.
Last but for sure the most important thing... HAVE FUN! This is a game. There will be a time for frustration when you hit lvl 30 and start doing ranked games etc.
Cyas and gluck.

^ Completely agree with all the above.
Um... guess I can just reiterate. You should primarily be playing against bots, whether with others or in a custom game. Learn your champ, any champ, as many champs as you can. KEY: Before you play ANY PVP game with a champ, play that champ against bots. I remember playing a game when I heard our jungler proclaim "Oh, Hecarim's a horsey guy." Never even seen the champ before and played in a pvp game. Needless to say, did not go well.
Last hitting is one of the most important things to learn, because it requires just some good finesse. If you just wail on minions, you'll push your lane, and probably be ganked.
Champ positioning (i.e. what champ goes where according to meta) is less important. If you're under level ten, it's not a huge deal. Hell, I've seen games with two-three APCs, or 2 ADCs, et cetera. Knowing HOW to play a champ and how to play the game is more important than who goes where.
Read guides, play bots, ignore douchebaggery, ask in game. A lot of times, if you have a question, people will try and help you out. If you're a jerk or make excuses, less likely. Just be frank and ask for advice, help, whatever.

Nom Nom Nom
I can agree but also it is a good idea to learn the metagame habit early.
I must say also that i barely ever played any game against bots, even if i played a champion for the first time but on the other hand i had a quite big exp from DotA before i even touched LoL.
And i often do that till this day =P
In my defense i must say that i usualy play with full 5ppl party so my friends know what is going to happen :D

I would agree with Waffles. Make sure the first time you play a champ, play against bots. I'm lvl 30 and I still do that just so I can learn how their abilities work. I had a decent idea of how
Lux worked since I had played against her so many times, but I still did a bot game just so I could mess around with her abilities.
I played bots pretty exclusively until lvl 10 just because I felt I didn't know how to play well enough to PvP. I also didn't know that I would get matched against people around my same level. So, While I suggest you play some bot games to get used to champs, I also suggest you play some PvP so you don't get stuck thinking people will act like bots. I've heard of plenty of people who played only bots until like lvl 20 and then struggled playing PvP because they were used to how bots behaved.
Ignore people who are flaming or trolling and just try to have fun while you learn. The biggest thing I have found is that you have to learn to be patient. It's easy to want to always auto attack minions and go for champ kills, but the best thing to do is to just wait and last hit minions and just wait for the other champ to make a mistake before killing them, or just driving them out of lane.

I was just wondering what on earth I'm supposed to do.
What lanes should I be in, why do people get mad when I choose middle while playing Ashe? Why am I constantly called a noob?! People always say I'm feeding but seriously I just don't know how to play! How do I use things that go in the boxes? Seriously, I used to watch my big brother play all the time and it looked fun and he really liked it. So I decided to try, and I need help. Don't hate on me please and thanks.
