Lol no. That worked like ****. I found that for some reason you float a bit when you use K though, so I used K to get myself out of sync with the dark guy then just made him walk down the hole.
At first I thought I had to do something with the mystical hole in the wall and I knew right from the start that the extra round for K you picked up was a key to getting past there. So I tried shooting K into the hole for a while, but alas, no result.
