So I just got the Marvel unlimited APP a few month's back which lets you read 1000's of comics for the low price of about 8 bucks a month. So I have been reading though a boat load of comics, mostly DeadPool, Iron Fist, XMen, and a few others. And I got to thinking what kind of Comics do you guys like to read. I know we have a Manga/Anime Thread, but after reading though a ton of Marvel and some DC I think that there is defiantly enough of a difference to merit it's own thread

I just got done reading though Marvels Civil War and I thought it was awesome seeing Iron Man take a side and Captain America take the other side of a huge conflict that was of epic proportions.

So are you a Marvel or a DC? Favorite Heroes? Favorite Team Ups? Who would win in a fight? ETC.

also Thanks to Lugignaf for helping me fix the poll options

for the people who don't like Marvel or DC, but don't have a life and read at least some comics.

Kind of pointless to make a thread about DC or Marvel comics then add an option for the weeaboos that have like 20 threads of their own.

I like both Marvel and DC, although I've bought more Marvel Comics during my life because I adore the X-Men. They're different universes, even in terms of approach, I think over the years has had more life-like consistency (not exaggerating in reviving people, more "lifelike concerns", a bit more diversity in terms of character personality) but Marvel's had really creative approaches.

Despite Batman being cool, I've always loved Justice League Europe because of it's (probably racist) goofy approach on the way they work in Europe and mess things up. There's great art in both, even though when they transitioned from the smaller books to magazine-sized (ish) ones (and the paper also changed) ten or so years ago Marvel's art took some terrible blows for a while.

Thank god Marvel oversexualizes both men and women.
