I'm looking for a new laptop to use later in the future when I get into tech school for the Air Force this summer.
I know you guys are going to tell me to build a desktop, but because I will be in the Air Force,
I'm going to be moving a lot. So portability and somewhat durable is a must.
I've thought about a 2014 MacBook Pro 13' with retina, but people tell me it gets pretty hot during game play... and that the fps isn't that great.
Also any new model Asus users, hmu with your computer. I'm really attracted to Asus...
The budget I'm willing to spend is $1000, at most 1200(if I find it worth)
What I'm looking for:
Portability
Decent battery life
Thin
Quality build
Something usable for work/student
Handle long skype calls LOL...
Able to run league at atleast 40-50 fps constantly on medium setting for a couple games(mainly during weekends)
Somewhat durable because of traveling
Other thoughts, questions, tips, experiences are ALL welcome. Just don't hate.
Thanks!

Most notebooks with dedicated GPU can run LoL and long Skype calls with Video quite easily.
With 1k$ you are pretty set to go.
Tho most gaming Notebooks aren't thin and don't have a decent battery life.
Generally, you shouldn't really play while not plugged in to power most of the time :x
