Sign up if you want in. They're only allowing a small amount of people so far, but they're expanding the amount every now and then.
(2000 out of the 60,000 that applied got in the first time)

They've got 30 games up and running so far.
When they're done I think it's gonna be ~200, most of which are Indie games.

Yesterday I got rid of linux and installed windows 8. Unfortunately I need some programs that only run on windows, so I may as well use windows and run linux on VMware.
Also, today I'm getting rid of windows 8 and installing windows 7. Windows 8 should have an option to disable the new interface, it really sucks for proper computers.

^Understandable.
I'm not switching on my main PC before gaming works properly on Linux.
Hopefully it's gonna be soon.

Also; W8 seems like ****.

The interface isn't bad and it seems pretty good for touchscreens, but I just prefer the normal one. Unfortunately there's no option to turn it off

i wish i had a second computer. for now im going to stick to win7 but when steam for linux comes out fully along with the majority of its games i'll surely switch over.

i found a way to get lol to work on linux, that was my main worry.

There are several guides on how to install LoL on linux. I remember posting quite a few on another topic.

To clarify: It seems pretty **** for PC usage.

Sure, it might be decent on a tablet, but consider this:
W8 takes ~10GB space and comes with preinstalled things that take a little more space.
32GB storage costs 100 dollars or euros(****py "translation", I know) on the Microsoft Surface.
So you're essentially losing out on ~32$/€ for just the space eaten by Windows.

Comparatively Android tablet users lose ~5$/€.

Honestly, W8 is faaar to bloated for me to want on a tablet. I'd much rather go with Android that eats 1-2GB storage..
