Yesterday I got rid of linux and installed windows 8. Unfortunately I need some programs that only run on windows, so I may as well use windows and run linux on VMware.
Also, today I'm getting rid of windows 8 and installing windows 7. Windows 8 should have an option to disable the new interface, it really sucks for proper computers.

^Understandable.
I'm not switching on my main PC before gaming works properly on Linux.
Hopefully it's gonna be soon.
Also; W8 seems like ****.

There are several guides on how to install LoL on linux. I remember posting quite a few on another topic.

The interface isn't bad and it seems pretty good for touchscreens, but I just prefer the normal one. Unfortunately there's no option to turn it off
To clarify: It seems pretty **** for PC usage.
Sure, it might be decent on a tablet, but consider this:
W8 takes ~10GB space and comes with preinstalled things that take a little more space.
32GB storage costs 100 dollars or euros(****py "translation", I know) on the Microsoft Surface.
So you're essentially losing out on ~32$/€ for just the space eaten by Windows.
Comparatively Android tablet users lose ~5$/€.
Honestly, W8 is faaar to bloated for me to want on a tablet. I'd much rather go with Android that eats 1-2GB storage..

They've got 30 games up and running so far.
When they're done I think it's gonna be ~200, most of which are Indie games.
