So I just started playing Team Fortress a lot, and so far I really enjoy it, but after finding some random weapons and looking though the TF2 store it appears that people who have put money into the game have a huge advantage over people who have not,"And I'm not talking about vanity items like HATS" thus Pay to Win, most weapons however can be obtained by just playing the game. So dose mean time to win as well?

I have seen other forums compare this to IP/RP points from League of Legends.
But I see a huge difference between the two just because you buy a bunch of champs with money doesn't mean your going to be good with them.

However in TF2 having complete sets, items and weapons, really does give you a huge advantage, at least the way I see it anyway

I will continue to play it because I enjoy the game, and due to it's fast paced nature and ability to find new servers I don't see it as a deal breaker at the moment but I do have huge concerns about it. Because it sucks losing to some one who is far worse at the game then you! Only because they have something that makes them invulnerable or Overpowered because they paid big bucks to get those bonuses.

I know there is a lot of skill, but some of the starting weapons aren't as good as others like the spy knife.

Trust me. TF2 is about hats. I played this game 200~ hours and you can find nearly every weapon. You don't need to buy them. Or you can craft them by finding weapons. It's not pay 2 win beacuse you can be better with standart weapons as other guys with "better" weapons. Find your playstyle. :)

Afaik most people prefer standard weapons over new ones. Plus there are vanilla servers.
I don't play LoL anymore.

Sweet I'm starting to feel better now I hate the concept of pay to win, and after looking in to it more it's not really that pay to win lol
