What do you mean when you say sync. Is it a soundtrack you're trying to add to the video or is it the sound from the video itself. Also what video editing program are you using
Right now it's Premiere Pro. I don't have a lot of experience, but it was in a package of other stuff I needed to do schoolwork, so I might as well learn, right?
But uhh, what I'm trying to do is get the sound from the video to actually sync with the video. It's fine until I pull it into Premiere, and then the audio massively desyncs seemingly at random.
EDIT: So, going forward this isn't an issue because I've apparently fixed the desync in the most recent video I recorded, but I'd still like to know how to fix the original video sync problems.

If your video was pre-recorded in a variable frame rate then I believe a video transcoder named Handbrake is able to convert your video with one click. You could try that then throw it back into Premiere pro.
I can't help you with the video editing part, but feel free to ask me about encoding (or in this case: transcoding). I've been using Handbrake for a while and I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to encoding.

I can control it pretty good most of the time, but when September ends, I just cant hold it in anymore. Whenever Im outside I see my brothers and sisters being chopped into soup, coffee, donuts, cake, drinks, bread - ppl even cut human faces into their skin, making a mockery out of their noble appearance. When I see things like that I cant control my pumpkin urges anymore. My natural instincts kick in. I then sit down motionless, while getting bright orange." - Morgana L

The video I want to edit got recorded in a variable framerate, so it's super hard to actually get the sync right. Is there any way to actually fix that, am I gonna have to live with it being out of sync, or will I have to force it into sync myself?
