I’ve been playing Aurora a bit, and honestly I don’t think she needs hard CC added to her kit. The real issue is that her impact feels inconsistent when she commits.
Her W-Across the Veil, gives movement and invisibility, which is nice for getting in and out, but once you’re actually in the fight, there isn’t much that forces the fight to go your way. If the timing isn’t perfect, people just walk out and your presence doesn’t really change anything.
Instead of adding CC, I’d rather see W give some kind of team value. Something like a medium-sized zone (not tiny like item auras, not as big as her ult) where enemies deal reduced damage, or allies take reduced damage. That way, when Aurora goes in, she’s actually influencing the fight instead of just hoping it works out.
This wouldn’t turn her into a full support or anything (like most my posts), but it would make her skirmishes feel more consistent and give her a clearer identity in fights—more of a zone/control skirmisher rather than just a hit-and-run mage.
And honestly, it fits her theme too. She’s all about moving between p-lanes… so it’d be nice if she wasn’t locked into one way of playing the game.
