I like to have that little peak on start so i go with flat AP quitnts but you can pick any.
CDR is not needed, and malz has huge AP scaling. Use that to your advantage.

The way i see it is this. If you have fairly short cooldowns, go AP all the way. If you have good AP scaling, go AP all the way. For champs like Lux, she is definitely a cooldown champ, because her skills arent the best with AP. so i go CDR runes. For champs like annie, however, who have amazing AP carry capabilities, i go all AP runes. It depends on the champ. For seals, however, i always go mana regen per level and for marks i use mPen.

Planning on which runes should i pick for Malzahar i was hard asking if it could be better CD reduction (Runes of Focus) or AP ( flat or by level? ) or maybe flat health.
