Currently seeking a 5's team to play with, I play every role in the game quite well, but recently I'm focused on top lane or mid lane. Yes my ranked is Silver 5, but I'd rather play with someone and figure out skill that way. My placements went terrible.

It works quite well when played defensively, and isn't a strategy that will work for killing your lane opponent. He scales very very well into mid game but is difficult to play in lane early. Thats what I want to ask advice on.
My current strategy is to use two rune pages, one for ap for for ad.
I have +10 AD, +10 Armor Pen, and +12 Armor or MR. Any ideas for alternate rune pages would be cool.
I've been starting with a red elixir, 4 health pots, and a ward. While this usually gives me the first trade/kill, I find myself falling off quickly after I use the potion. I've tried buying boots+more pots on my back, or a dorans shield. Neither really work well.
I might try doing the elixir -> Phage, boots 1, then brutalizer. Finish merc treads then get giants belt. Depending on the enemy team probably finish frozen mallet or finish black cleaver. Rest of it depends.
