What setup do you guys use when you want to record something live? I would like to use fraps but it never seems to work correctly for me and slows down the game so much its almost unbearable. I'm willing to sacrifice some video quality for better game performance. Any ideas?

Half-size at 60 FPS. It won't be an HD resolution, but it will increase your framerate.
