Whenever I play riven with my battle bunny skin I can't seem to cancel q animations as easily as with classic. For some reason I find it really hard...I'm not sure if they animations are actually slightly changed (not just in cosmetics)or if it's just all that extra blind that I'm not used to. When I saw Arcade Riven I thought "instabuy" but I'm not sure anymore since I don't know if it'll affect my mechanics. Does anyone else have the same problems and if so are there any Riven skins that have a really similar feel to classic?

I remember reading that Dragonblade Riven had some issues with animation cancelling, but I don't think Battle Bunny has any disadvantages with animation cancelling..

Not sure about Arcade Riven.

I'm 99% sure it's just your eyes not being used to it (or getting distracted by the bunny suit e.e). Sometimes the different textures/skill animations can affect your reaction time, so the best thing to do is just playing a lot with it until you get used to them.

On the arcade riven skin, my money is on it being more readable. You might even have an easier time doing animation cancelling with it.

What Ekki said. I have a few skins that I never use for this very reason. Example I can never land spears with that skin, I don't know why but I just can't.

Its also fair to mention that certain skins are banned for use in the LCS. Due to some skin animations being harder to see then others.

Battle Bunny Riven is not included in this video but it may explain why you are having a harder time cancelling your Q since it's harder to see the animation. Having a better understanding of how some skins effect your game play may help you find an easier time using your favorite champion with or without a skin :)

i have no idea. i play riven with classic but i would play with arcade riven if i could.

P.S. i heard from a friend who does own arcade riven that using that skin will make you less toxic as riven overall

Im my opinion, Dragonblade Riven is her best skin. The whole fire/heat-wave animations really tickle my fancy! However, it is only available during the Lunar Revel during the beginning of the year, so that's a huge downside.
