    Hi
    I'm new to mid lanning and was wondering if someone could help me with some advice?
    and also which champ to start of mid lanning with

    I would recommend starting with some ranged champions, you can play safer with them and it's easier to run away from an all-in in case you screw up. Coincidentally, most of the cheap ones are ranged, so you can easily afford them.
    Make sure you don't underestimate early game AA poke, it will be that 50 hp that made the difference.
    Also, roam whenever you see a chance, pretty much every midlaner can roam, even the ones that have poor early game.

    And cheap mid champions like Annie, Lux, Ryze, Twisted Fate etc.
