hello. i am trying to learn different roles in this awesome game and i want to try the tank champions. I am curious to see what everyone recommends for me. I really want to become a tank.

There's no dedicated tank in League; you can build tanky, but you still need to be a threat to the enemy team, otherwise every teamfight is a 4v5 because they can just ignore you.

and have great CC, has excellent base damage and is innately tanky, has a great initiate and deals damage proportional to his maximum health, is a great utility tank who has great AoE crowd control and a good global ultimate, and also scales well with maximum health as well as having a true-damage nuke on a very low cooldown.
