Views: 756 6 Ways to Get Out of Elo Hell
|
Hi blackguy here, making a post about elo hell. I been and gotten out of elo hell myself and i want to help other get out of it also. this are the things you need to do...
1. Play positions that you know you can play and will most likely win in.
2. If someone says they call mid dont be an ******** and say no im mid im first pick. This will almost always make you lose.
3. Support your team and try to boost their self esteem.(you never want a teammate thinking you cant win and start to troll).
4. NEVER overextend or towerdive. Trading is not a way to win in lane. A kill for you is not worth a death for you.
5. Try to call mia's as much as possible, it will save you and your team alot of deaths.
6. Dont expect to have mia's call on other lanes. Most people in elo hell wont call mia.

Then I said my opinions about the op's 1-6.
^+rep for truth.
4 is bad, if you know you can get a kill you should get it. If you truly are in 'elo hell' then you are implying you're better than everyone around you and can make use of 1 kill more than the other team can make use of that 1 kill, giving you a net advantage.
5 is 150% inaccurate. You call mia, they get ganked and die anyway. Best way is to counter-roam or shut down your laners through aggressive play.
Also,
7. Your mindset should be 'I will crush lane.' instead of 'I hope my teammates don't feed and bring me lower.'
8. Don't miss cs.
9. Be super aggressive.
edit: I meant for Nighthawk
lolwat
I didn't even say any of those things o_o

1. don't believe in it
2. don't believe in it
3. don't believe in it
4. don't believe in it
5. carry your team
6. don't believe in it
1. I agree half way. If you main support, playing support at 400's does very little effect to the game. Play someone who can effectively influence the game and have power later on. Middle Lane or Jungle would be best, ADC being next, than top and support.
2. No. There is a limit to be assertive and being flexible. If you let every player in every game play top, you will never get to it. Likewise for other roles - decide off initial insight if this person who is rivaling your desired role is decent, literate, nice, rude, etc. You can also use lolking.com to check their stats and use that as justification. There is a difference between reasonable and logical inquiries and being an *** of a person.
3. I agree. Even when losing, encourage your team.
4. Again, this is not 100% accurate. Sure, in some cases, but not in all cases. Saying this as a fact is WRONG. Overextending and towerdiving =/= death. You can be successful, you can end up ahead. Especially if the lane's minions are favored to you, you can deny him waves of minions and force their jungler to come.
6. If you expect people to be bad, then there is a reason why lower ELO games are problematic - everyone who considers themself half-decent will assume the same thing. This is why there is a high level of apathetic resentment towards teammates. Be nicer, ask people to call MIA, and don't go in the game assuming you are the only decent one.
