Somewhat under one hour per wing actually sounds pretty standard and reasonable, even when your folks are previously geared from LFR. (I don't know in case you are like the fourth wing as time period since that has been just released and you did say Fridays.)
The sole exception fot it, I'm sure, can be whether it's someone's first-time seeing the information, in which case I'll typically expect these phones ruin somewhat. We struggled a tad on Spoils rolling around in its first week, but we 1-shot from then on, and I don't foresee any future difficulties with it. Obviously, for anyone who is using the services of raiders with already seen (and wiped to) this article on normal/heroic, that's a non-issue. Those raiders very much can be expected to learn the mechanics and understand what to take into consideration.
My progression guild runs an optional Flex raid every Wednesday night. We put absolutely zero requirements on DPS, HPS, gear, or raid progression. However, we require that people investigate the fights beforehand (we post links to websites, youtube, etc within the calendar).
We now have people pulling 20 and 30k DPS but we still clear every one of the wings. Why? Because mechanics less difficult, much more important than any numbers you are able to draw Flex. Watcher is proper, they're tuned so low that numbers don't matter by any means.
The enrage timers (eg Norushen) aren't remotely a worry provided that everyone understands what exactly to do. We require research and give detailed explanations/strategies ahead of the fights, and yes it pays off immensely.
Note: the only real "runescape gold " we get are family (RL buds, somebody's grandfather, etc), and so i have no concept how this would translate to something similar to OQ or OpenRaid. 35cxhyh
