I don't understand. Every time a PvP game starts I wish everyone luck and a great, fun game. Far more often than not, I always get someone saying, "**** you!" or, "Screw you!" etc. Even from teammates!
Why respond so harshly to a friendly statement? This is a game for fun, why don't you want to have that?
I don't know. It just makes me a little sad. :\

I kind of only recently started playing a lot of PvP in LoL, but I heard of the nightmarish community. When I started PvP...I saw it pretty much right away. I just can't really understand the anger. The only time I get upset is when I mess up or I can't seem to get the game to work for me. XD
And I added you Ninja Trigger. I am not that great either. I tend to be carried by the friends I play with. ^_^
3 guys were having fun, while 1 guy (X) was doing bad and felt sorry, and the other one was very angry at X.
X wasn't happy and said that angry person (Y) should stop being so angry.
Y said X should play better if he wants to talk.
Next match, X improved because he didn't want to get flamed anymore.
That match, someone elses feeds (Z).
X flames Z because he feeds, while Z doesn't understand that, because he is doing his best.
Now Z doesn't improve, but he thinks he did.
Z flames someone who doesn't follow meta 100% or doesn't play the way Z likes (Q).
Z flames Q like a boss.
Q will flame towards someone else.
It is an endless cycle, unless you are in the middle of flames, you can't do **** about it.
If people are flaming you, the easiest way to solve it is by just ignoring them, then at least one cycle will end there.
Hope it helped!
