Well AD Kata wouldn't be HORRIBLE. 300% AD ratio on her ult means that if you ge 5 Bloodthirsters and stack them all up, you've got 500 AD, and therefore do 1500 extra damage on your ult, which when combined with the base damage of your ult, totals 2100 damage. The problem is that that's really all she could actually do. Shunpo would now deal no damage and completely become a gap-closer, and Bouncing Blades would now also deal no damage. There wouldn't really be any reason to use it at all. sinister steel scales better on AD than on AP too though. But the AP ratio on Bouncing Blades and Shunpo makes up for the smaller AP ratio on sinister steel and Death Lotus, and you also have to take into account that you can get more AP than you can AD, and a full AP build costs less than a build consisting of 5 Bloodthirsters, and, once again, would give more AP than the AD build would give AD.
All in all, AD Katarina isn't horrible. There's just no point in playing her when AP Katarina is so much more effective, and has a higher damage out-put in total. ESPECIALLY taking into account her passive resetting 3 spells which all scale on AP, but not fully resetting the only spell which makes AD Katarina plausible. AP Katarina any day.

If you play her AD you are doing everything wrong.
I guess you could, bu why? Just why?
