Apparently I own 204 skins atm. Just on my main account, I'm pretty sure my smurfs have some skins as well. So I guess I can say:

You don't have to feel bad about it man. If LoL is your game then buy as much as you like. It isn't bad because you would propably spend this money on other things.
Just think about every purchase first if you need that skin. If you do buy it. It is your life and you can decide what to do and not to do. :)

In his defense though, a lot was on sale or in new champ bundles and he's also been gifted RP/skins multiple times.
Edit: as for myself, I have 56 skins. I spent €210,- on the game, which might sound like a lot but, considering the two years I've played, is basically a little less than €9,- a month for playing. 100% worth it for me.
Oh and btw, some of those skins were free (Alistar, Kayle etc.) and some were gifted. And yes, GMD gifted me stuff too. Just like he gave pretty much everyone else of us (and by "us" I mean our team) a Legendary skin last Christmas. Let us please not forget he has also spent money on that...... :P
