"He gets Armor/MR for 8 seconds every 72 seconds without CDR. That's enough for a teamfight as it unfolds rapidly. Doesn't seem all that worthwhile to just forget about it, though. A lot of builds use Randuin's Omen, mostly because of the passive/active but the extra armor doesn't hurt.

"Since this has been necro'd, something that has been bugging me about Jax. Nobody seems to build Sunfire Cape on him.
People go for Warmog's Armor even though he's an in-your-face all the time champion, which makes the damage proc from the cape valuable. HP and Armor to boot? Awesome."
