"A normal support page usually uses armor marks and seals, aswell as MR or MR/level glyphs and gp5 quints. Since you don't have the armor marks you might aswell use magic pen for the extra harassment it gives.
As Vapora Dark says, the other runepages can be used for specific champions/ counters."
