I'm level 13 and I have 7k IP... You think it's better to get 5 cheap champs or get 5 expansive champs but "stronger"?

dominion + classic
Played a bit of dominion and noticed the best champions for dominion are the bruisers, who can 1v1 a lot of champions, right?
