Heya MobaFire, feeling bored right now so I feel like killing some time. If this post is better suited to the forums, please notify me and I'll move it.
Since Tristana is my most played (~1400 games played) and favourite champion, I'd like you to ask (almost) any question about Tristana.
Ask away!
EDIT: If anyone is interested in me reviving my Tristana guide, please say so in your comment. If I get enough people who are interested, it may push me a bit more to bring the guide back, thanks! :3

What do you think about her laning phase? And who is the best support for Tristana?
Tristana's laning phase is strong and can win matchups even against other strong laners ( Lucian, and, when played right, even Draven), however it is somewhat dependent on the enemy support, since they can ruin your all-in advantage and turn it against you (e.g. Janna, Zyra, Nami and Thresh to an extent), but as long as you play around their cooldowns you should be able to pull ahead rather easily since they're all squishy and easily bursted.
As for the best support for Tristana... It depends on how I feel but as for a general preference it's usually Leona or Thresh. Other supports can work very well with Tristana, for example Zyra. The reason a Tristana/ Zyra lane can be strong is because it is a very high pressure lane for your opponents to play against, since Tristana has little trouble pushing the lane in early and Zyra excels at harassing at towers. You also have a strong level 2, as Zyra will have her W and E, locking your opponents down and getting damage and slow off from her plants, allowing you to go to town on whoever's caught. A downside to this lane is that you have to push the lane to be able to exert maximum pressure, and this can leave you vulnerable to ganks which is especially true for Zyra since she has no escapes.
To prevent them from pushing and poking you in, start a push right from level 1. This is so that you hit level 2 first so you can all-in them (poke is usually weak to all-in, and Tristana excels at all-ins during laning phase). If they try to deter you from hitting level 2 by trying to harass you, your standard Auto > E > Auto combo should win almost any level 1 trade. In fact, I like taking the driver's seat from the get-go because Explosive Shot's base damage is so high (Rank 1 110 dmg).
Also against a poke/push lane, a support with good all-in and/or engage is especially handy (e.g. Thresh, Leona).
I'm going to go ahead and ask the obvious question: how good do you think Tristana currently is, why isn't she seen more competitively? Oh, and does Explosive Shot's AoE damage annoy you when trying to farm? I know that's what I've always hated about playing her >.<
I'd imagine I could read about all of this in your guide, but you know, it's not up anymore. Would be cool to have it up though, I remember it being quite good back in the day.
Heya Wayne! :p
I think Tristana is in that position where she is a good carry, but not top-notch. I think she's pretty underplayed for her relative power level to other ADC's though.
As for why she's not seen competitively, Tristana requires a sizable lead over the enemy ADC in order to affect the game post-laning phase. In competitive games, it's not common to see either bot lane get a large lead early on, which can create problems for Tristana because if she goes even or behind, she won't have the impact in mid game that the other ADC would have. She's a risky competitive pick, that's a given, but it's yet to be seen if any pro teams can effectively integrate her into teams.
I've gotten used to Explosive Shot :L
The only time where I dislike it is with minions under tower. When they're mostly full health, Explosive Shot can ruin some of those last-hits for you, though this doesn't happen too often and sometimes I can last hit two minions to bring the other minions into last-hit health range.
As for my guide...
I'm lazy, and I need incentives/motivation to get it going. The last time my Tristana guide was updated was when I was Silver II, and I've improved two tiers from that now, so I think it'd be interesting to see how my knowledge and views have changed.
