A friend introduced me to League of Legends and within a few days I'm hooked. Riot are such a refreshingly open and creative company and the game is surprisingly tactical and deep.
Other than the tutorials and bot games I've been trying some champions and looking to settle on one or two to level up with. Nunu is my current favourite. I must admit I'm apprehensive about joining some player matches after reading about the flaming and general unfriendliness towards newcomers. We shall see.

The only difference is that pre 30 the content of the flaming is more empty then it is at lvl 30
True that. Back then, people are as imaginative as an elephant. "Noob" is as commonly used as my mobile phone.
To see how they learn, you need to check the banter of ranked players at times:

But then again, after 30, it feels like there are very annoying players tad bit too often, and when someone starts acting like a d1ck it's sometimes hard to not return the favor (no one dents my dignity lol).

In my humble opinion, flame creates more flame, and ragers help create more angry people who acts irrationally.

He's also got great jungle clear times, but it's difficult to jungle without the runes and masteries for it (i.e. shouldn't be attempted by a newbie until at least Lv20).
