Is Karthus Jungle considered viable?
I'm seeing all the Moba guides on the subject fall into disrepair and I'm wondering if the jungle change meant the end of the longest range gank in the game besides Gangplank and Pantheon.

He's viable but you won't be seeing him in tournaments any time soon, that you can be sure of.
It seems logical that you can, but is it worth it? I doubt it, because as
