However since I fell down around the 1200-1400 range again I cannot rely on the carries to get their job done because you still get those players that just don't have a solid grasp on what builds will work and not work."

"The whole +Gold items idea is brilliant. I've been doing it on and off for a while and it works great.
Why does it work?
It works because:
A) People tend to tower hug hard.
B) People play extremely defensive usually in solo ranked. (I find)
C) Sometimes you have to play extremely defensive."

"Anything under 70% I generally don't look at. Then again I generally don't look at any builds anymore unless to look for ideas for starting items for a champion."

"I'd rather ban Alistar. Then again a bad Alistar isn't as good as a bad Amumu. You always have the chance at a Tankistar, in which case he's just an annoying after thought in team fights usually.
Not very many people know how to play Alistar at this rating range though."
