"Pre-6 Cho'Gath just has one smite, and needs a reliance on Blue due to his high mana cost. But after 6, he's a monster in the jungle.
I guess when he doesn't have Blue, it's not much of an impact because of Carnivore.

"Sometimes you can't really do anything if they are able to crawl with a sliver of health left. My best guess is to get more damage to give them the blunt end of the stick.

"My best guess is to ask for help from another lane that is dominating their opponents and can afford to lose some exp and gold.
Try to set up a small zone of fear, but not enough for the enemy ranged to harass you. At the very least, ward the bushes to avoid a burst surprise.
