"Thanks so much for the explanation! My question persists: Why do I never see any guides with Critical Chance or Damage marks or other runes? Have you ever thought to use them on any champion?"

"I have another question about runes and CDR vs MS quints. Faker and other pro's seem to favor the MS boost. What do you think or feel about MS quints for Ryze and picking up CDR through items?"
