Mid AP Nasus: Victory



Hello everyone. ShogunGojira here again to give an update on my progress in the Bronze 5 League. The purpose of my blogs is to archive my ranked matches and my attempt at leaving the hell known as Bronze.

This was a fun game, but I feel like Ap Nasus is just cheating. He does nothing but clear waves and push, and holy **** he is good at doing that. So let's talk about why Ap Nasus works.

Abilities

I max my E out first because this is how Nasus bursts. It provides a lot of lane dominance and it's where most of his damage is going to come from. I max W out next because it's an incredible slow and it keeps champions in my ring of burn for a lot longer. And finally, Q should be the last thing you max out.

Items

Because I was going against Udyr I built Armor and Sustain. My Build at the end of the game was: Needlessly Large Rod, Seeker's Armguard, Liandry's Torment, Sorcerer's Shoes, and a Chalice of Harmony.

Because Ap Nasus is still Nasus, I find it best to build him like an Ap Bruiser. Seeker's is a great defense item on Nasus. It can stack quickly thanks to his E and it's just the perfect early game item on him. To help keep him in lane even longer I chose the Chalice. You could also build a Morellonomicon if you wanted because this provides additional burn from your E.

Now that our Nasus is tanky, it's time to give him damage. I build Magic pen and a Liandry's to provide more burn from my E because Champions who stand on it are always taking Magic Damage. It helps a lot.

For this game my intended End Game Build was going to be: Zhonya's, Athene's, Liandry's, Sorc Boots, Morellonomicon, and a Death Fire Grasp.

As you can tell from the scoreboard, we stomped all over this team. They didn't even take a single tower. My team did very well and was very responsive to pings and communication. Even though I was first pick and called mid three times in the chat, I almost lost my position to our Annie. I have to give a shout out to Aquatic Blaze for being a good sport and going top. Ap Nasus had no trouble going against Udyr and I'm glad Annie let me face him instead of Fiora. I'm pretty sure Annie is better against Fiora anyway.
