I recently had a game with a bad
Xerath. He had no idea how to play the champion at all, and demanded on going mid. I wanted to, at first, because playing AP
Ez needed a solo lane, vs another hopefully squishy champ, so you can get fed a nuke. So basically, he went mid and fed their
Kennen. So while we were about to lose, our
Riven made a comment saying that
Xerath was bad.
Xerath replied that he wouldnt be playing if he was good with
Xerath.
So, basically our xerath sucked with xerath and we lost because of that.
So PLEASE, if you arent good with a specific champion you want to play, play him/her in a bot game! Get down all the basics and skills and stuff before going in a real game! Mastering a champion can wait, but there is no excuse for having an inability to play one(unless you just...cant :p [me as
Irelia]in that case, why are you playing it in the first place?)
Co-op vs. Ai Games ARE good for you. They let you practice the basics of the champion, master the basics and you're ready to play real people. Play real people and master the champion. Master the champion and play ranked. Other than raising your "True Elo", Co-op games are also fun, the bots dont surrender and you can joke around all you want(lol ap
Tryn). Plus, if you happen to have a bad day, it gives you your first win.
So play bot games! :D

If this was a ranked game, I would ask for the guys IGN and I'd kill him haha, however normal is just as it states, a normal no negative outcome game. I am sorry you lost though :[
I can understand people being angry at someone trying something in a ranked game, but in normals I think it's really not a big deal. I don't really care all that much if my allies do badly as long as they're trying and they don't flame.
Still, if it's a champion with a learning curve you may as well test it first. Some champions can be learned much faster than others.
