Introduction

Hello and welcome to my first guide on Mobafire, here you will find my two favorite Nidalee builds!

Nidalee is my favorite and best champion in the league, ever since i played her i couldn't stop, i feel I'm experienced enough to share my guide and playstyle with everyone who wishes to read it.

Pros / Cons

- Pretty much the best pusher in the game
- Near impossible to gank
- Can 1v1 most champions
- Stay in lane forever
- Insane damage and tankyness

- No Spears for 75% HP
- Heal is ok, mainly used for the AS
- No cc

Build 1 - Trinity Atmas

Wriggle's Lantern - Phage - Atma's Impaler - Trinity Force - Guardian Angel
This is your core against an AD top

Doran's Blade x3 - Trinity Force - Atma's Impaler - Guardian Angel
This is your core against an AP top

If you're destroying and can get red every time it's up just build a B. F. Sword after Wriggle's Lantern/ Doran's Blade's, Then Sheen/ Phage > Infinity Edge > Trinity Force

I always start with either Boots x3 Health Potion or Cloth Armor x5 Health Potion depending what I'm against

For boots you can pretty much build whatever you like. Berserker's Greaves Ninja Tabi and Mercury's Treads are all viable boots, just be smart and look at what the enemy team comp has.

For the extra slots you can pretty much build whatever you feel is needed.

Are they building Armor? Last Whisper
No armor on enemy team?, want more damage? Infinity Edge Bloodthirster Guinsoo's Rageblade take your pick
Do you need to be more Tanky? Hexdrinker Wit's End Randuin's Omen Banshee's Veil take your pick

I have been playing with this build for quite some time now, and i have had far more success in lane and teamfights with it, you have far more presence mid game since you don't have to wait out 20 minutes till you become strong with Warmog's Armor Atma's Impaler

Build 2 - Warmog Atmas

You can basically build a massive variety of items, the core is just Wriggle's Lantern Warmog's Armor Atma's Impaler and either Mercury's Treads or Ninja Tabi

I always start with either Boots x3 Health Potion or Cloth Armor x5 Health Potion depending what I'm against

Guardian Angel - Pretty much the most godlike item in the game, i always build this unless I'm completely dominating

MR-

Wit's End - This is actually a really good item for the pushing and defense it gives in teamfights, would only get this if you think the game won't really go that much longer.

Banshee's Veil - Good for the shield, health and MR

Force of Nature - Is pretty ok if you're against a heavy AP CC team and want to be split pushing all day

Hexdrinker - See Wit's End

Spirit Visage - Decently cheap item like Wit's End and Hexdrinker

Armor-

Randuin's Omen - Amazing item, passive, active, armor, health.. what more do you want?

Frozen Heart - Would get this after Thornmail instead of Randuin's Omen, matter of preference really and only if they have stacked AD

Thornmail - Vs a stacked AD team this is insane.

Runes

Pretty much player preference on everything, choose what you feel works for you.

I usually run Greater Mark of Attack Damage Greater Seal of Armor Greater Glyph of Attack Speed and Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed

Summoner Spells

Ghost -
Can choose either, more chase or Flash Takedown people on low hp huehue
Flash -

Teleport - One of the best summoner's if you feel like a team player :D
Cleanse - Depending on the amount of CC on the enemy team
Heal - Actually not bad Ignite - Decent if you have no Ignites on the team and there's something like an enemy Fiddlesticks
Exhaust - Same as Ignite but more for AD's

Surge - Meh, use it if you want, i just feel the other options are better

Clarity - No, you don't need mana
Smite - No, you aren't a jungler, although you can jungle after 6.
Clairvoyance - No, you aren't a support.
Revive - Good if you are Karthus, not for Nidalee
Back to Top

Masteries

I usually run 21/9/0 or 9/21/0 depending on the lane.

Farming

Farming is the same as any other bruiser, you need to be getting all the CS you can so you are able to be a monster in teamfights.

Real easy to farm pre-6 since you are AD, and turns into afk farming past 6.

Team Work

Keep your Teleport up as much as you can, if you have to use it to get back to lane you've been outplayed. Try to use Teleport whenever you can to help with objectives/fights, make sure you're support is Sight Ward'ing properly.

In a teamfight, you can basically jump in and tank a ****load of damage because of this build, and if you can get to the squishies they are dead instantly with your combo.

1-6

In the early levels you can harass your opponent so easily especially if they are melee, keep widdling them down with auto attacks but don't go overzealous.

6+

After you've gone back and gotten you're Wriggle's Lantern, you can afford to play really aggressive depending on the Champion and start to take objectives/kills, if you're team is going for Dragon and you have Teleport up, use it if the enemy team is trying to contest, unless you are at the tower then take it.

Don't be afraid to go 1v1 with somebody, you can easily widdle them down with auto attacks and your cougar combo without taking much in return because of Wriggles + Heal

Take the tower as soon as possible then you can roam in the enemy jungle and help with ganks.

Counter Jungling

With Wriggle's Lantern Nidalee is quite an amazing counter jungler, if you have your lane pushed and/or pushed the enemy out, you can go ward either the the enemy Blue/Red depending on what side you are on, and just keep constantly jacking it.

The ward from Wriggle's Lantern you've placed at those buffs is probably the best place to see incoming ganks after you've got the first tower down, plus you'll have Bushwhack / Pounce's everywhere
