Introduction

Hi all, I am AsianNoobX.
I am a gold 5 ekko main. This is my first guide and I am new to mobafire. I have been playing Ekko since his release. Partly it was cause he was OP AF but I played AD tank ekko and had great success. I didn't really want to try AP ekko cause everything in his kit just screams tank. I saw faker get a penta with his ult (yeah :) and i had to try AP ekko and also had great success. Now I play Ap ekko mid, Ad ekko top and tank/ap ekko jungle. I occasionally play Utility Ekko support but not in ranked. Everything in Ekkos kit suits me, I love assassins. Im not great at csing and his W passive solves that. He has a very overload and forgiving kit but giving him lots of outplay potential. He has 2 dashes in 1 and he can go over walls which is like my dream. :)

Reds: Pretty standard, more dmg. You can get Hybrid Pen reds I guess
Yellows: Pretty standard in pro play, you can replace with flat or scaling armor vs AD or Flat health.
Blues: With Morellos and masteries u get 40% cdr which works wonders on ekko. If u want lucidity boots you can go MR blues vs AP
Quints: U can go scaling AP, or Scaling cdr and go MR

Offensive: dangerous game is good. you can replace something for feast if you want sustain
Defensive: standard, you can replace scout with fleet of foot or something, you can also replace for 9 in defense if you want

Reds: Pretty standard reds, you could take armor against ad, you could take AD for more damage. But you do alot of mixed damage so hybrid pen is good.
Yellows: Pretty standard for tanky tops. You could go Flat Hp/Armor or scaling HP
Blues: We want 40% cdr so 3 scaling cdr in blues will get us there. 6 Scaling MR cause many champs in the top lane are AD
Quints: Helps us cs, does a bit of dmg

Pretty standard for a tank page. Replace Hardiness with resistance depending on lane match up. U can go 21/9 for a more aggressive early game, taking points in AD
