In the ancient civilization of Shurima, the mage called Xerath practiced magic with undying passion. He believed that with enough magical power, he could gaze into the heart of Runeterra to know the secrets of history and the universe beyond. Such magic was beyond the limitations of a mortal body, but Xerath obsessively pursued a path to infinite power nonetheless. With every breakthrough he grew more and more powerful, yet not without consequence. Xerath's increasing arcane abilities wrought havoc on his physical form. Desperate, he undertook a dangerous ritual to transcend his dying body. The outcome would be immortality or self-destruction. Violent magic unleashed during the ritual caused devastation throughout Shurima, but when the dust settled, Xerath emerged as an ascended being of pure arcane energy.
Free of flesh and bone, Xerath held nearly infinite power at his command. However, in the wake of his chaotic ritual, the mages of Shurima feared his careless disregard for life would bring ruin to the kingdom. After a terrible struggle they subdued Xerath, but they could not destroy his ascended form. Instead they trapped him within an enchanted sarcophagus and sealed him in an underground tomb. Eons passed, civilizations rose and fell, and Xerath's imprisonment was lost to memory. For centuries, Xerath's vast power tore away at the sarcophagus and weakened its spell. Finally, he willed forth a burst of magic that shattered his prison, but its core remained, containing Xerath and his power within its broken pieces. Seeking to rid himself of this burden, he was drawn to the magic of Valoran's nexuses and found he could absorb their power. Yet the nexuses had gatekeepers: petty mages known as summoners. Xerath knew his key to true freedom from his prison lay in gaining their trust, and he offered his power to the League of Legends.

Pros / Cons
-He is one of the Most underestimatet Champs in LoL. So he will never get banned in Ranked games.
-His Ultimate Arcane Barrage deals 3x Times 125 / 200 / 275 (+60% of his ability power). At Level 18 his Ultimate will Deal 275+268 Damage 3 Times. That means he Deal 525 Damage. When you hit somebody withc you ultimate on Level 18 you will deal 1575 Magic Damage.
-He have a nice nice CC. Mage Chains + Arcanopulse or Arcane Barrage.
-His W-Spell ( Locus of Power) give you Epic range and some Extra Movementspeed when you quit it.
-AD Carrys cant kill he Easy because you Passiv Ascended Form receives 15% of you ability power as bonus armor.
-He have an Awesome Voice and and Epic Dance.
-Really Squishy in the Endgame.
-CC is a Skilshot.
-Cant Move while you W is Active.
-His Ultimate only receives 60% of you Ap.
. Why?: Evry AP Carry at the Midlane need it when his Enemy have some Magic Resist because he have some
Seals: . Why?: 9x 1.8 Ap=16,2 Ap in the Endgame more. And this Runes are good because Xerath´s Passiv Ascended Form (+2.43 Armor)
Glyphs: . Why? Because evrybody at the Midlane need some Start AP. And this Runes give Xerath 10,8 AP.
Quintessence: . Why? Because you always need 14,85 AP in the Early game. (Glyph Ap + Quintessence Ap=25,05 Ap in the Earlygame)
-Xerath receives 15% of his ability power as bonus armor.
Realy usefull Passiv when you play versus a Team with Master Yi or Xin Zaho
With my build you receive at level 18 67 Extra Armor.
(His Q-Spell) Active:
Xerath fires a long-range beam of energy in a line, dealing 75 / 115 / 155 / 195 / 235 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to all targets hit. A very usefull Attack.
You should Max it first
(His W-Spell) Active:
Xerath anchors himself to the ground he is standing on for up to 8 seconds, increasing the range of all his spells by 400.
It Granting him 16 / 22 / 28 / 34 / 40% bonus magic penetration. Upon disabling this ability, Xerath gains 35% movement speed for 2 seconds. He can deactivate the ability at any time after 0.5 seconds of casting it. Its my personal Favorite.
Take a Point eraly but Max it last.
(His E-Skill) Active:
Deals 70 / 120 / 170 / 220 / 270 (+80% of ability power) magic damage to an enemy and marks them with Unstable Magic for 3 seconds.
The next spell Xerath strikes this enemy with in these 3 seconds will stun them for 1.5 seconds. I take a point early and maximize it as a second.
(His R-Skill) Ultimate:
After a .5 second delay, Xerath calls down a blast of arcane energy, dealing 125 / 200 / 275 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to all enemies in an area. May be cast another two times with no cost within the next 12 seconds before going on cooldown. Like evry Ultimate I take a Point at Lv 6,lv 11 and 16.
Your Endgame Items are:
Earlygame: Minute 0-15
Best you start with buying a Amplifying Tome and 1x Health Potion.
When you have enough Farm you should be able to buy Kage's Lucky Pick. The best way to use this item is if you long back keeps. When you have enough Gold you buy Boots of Speed and another Amplifying Tome. The next important Item you should buy is Tear of the Goddess. So you get more and more mana evry time you use a spell. Kind of a big deal. The last items you should buy in the early-game are Blasting Wand and Catalyst the Protector. Because you need Ap and some Health/Mana for the Mid-game.
Midgame: Minute 15-30
You first Item for the Midgame is Rod of Ages. Because you will get evry minute extra Health/Mana/Ap and Armor (Dont forget Xeraths passiv Ascended Form) After you've farmed a bit its time for 1 Blasting Wand and a Giant's Belt. For some extra health and Ap. When you reach minute 30 it is so ****ing important that you bought Rylai's Crystal Scepter!!!!!
Endgame : Minute 30-°°
Go farm until you have enough money to buy Needlessly Large Rod and one more Blasting Wand. You can now upgrade you Blasting Wand and the [Tear of the Goddess to Archangel's Staff. After you buoght another Blasting Wand you should save your money. And then....When you have 1140 Gold you can buy Rabadons deathcap. And finaly then you can upgrade you Kage's Lucky Pick
to Morello's Evil Tome. Its important for Xerath because you need some cooldown and the Active Bonus of this Item is nice against Champions like Dr. Mundo

The best Summoner Spells for Xerath are:
I take Ignite because I choosed Summoner's Wrath in my masteries I will get +5 Ap & +5 Ad when I used it.
And I use Flash because it is a nice escape skill
Some other usefull spells:
: When you out of mana you just press D or F and then you mana get restored.
: Best choose vs a Champion which much CC´s ( Anivia, Ahri
: If you use this Spell, you will get fast to you lane without the enemy can push you tower down.
Bad spells to use:
. You only need this Spell when you are Katarina or an AD Carry....And you dont be an Ad Carry or Katarina
: When you are on the Midlane this Spell is totaly useless.
Your Support should pick it. But not you.!!!
You dont need it. Like Exhaust. As an Ap carry you just dont need this Spell.
