Introduction:

Well, the first you need to know about this guide is that im not a high elo player or something, i just LOVE to play with my blonde. Note that the item, masteries, runes, summoners build are in MY OPINION, so please dont troll my guide, or my blonde will laz0r you! I accept suggestions, and I am here to learn too, so please enjoy it. Note that my style of play with the blonde, is like a supportive character, so this is why I max Barrier first then Snare, and why I dont make a pure AP lux. I make this guide to show my way of laz0r, so if you dont like my build or something, please leave a commentary or something like this, saying why, and please be civilized, we are on the 21th century, so dont be a caveman.

Lux, The Lady of Luminosity

Born to the prestigious Crownguards, the paragon family of Demacian service, Luxanna was destined for greatness. She grew up as the family's only daughter, and she immediately took to the advanced education and lavish parties required of families as high profile as the Crownguards. As Lux matured, it became clear that she was extraordinarily gifted. She could play tricks that made people believe they had seen things that did not actually exist. She could also hide in plain sight. Somehow, she was able to reverse engineer arcane magical spells after seeing them cast only once. She was hailed as a prodigy, drawing the affections of the Demacian government, military, and citizens alike.

As one of the youngest women to be tested by the College of Magic, she was discovered to possess a unique command over the powers of light. The young Lux viewed this as a great gift, something for her to embrace and use in the name of good. Realizing her unique skills, the Demacian military recruited and trained her in covert operations. She quickly became renowned for her daring achievements; the most dangerous of which found her deep in the chambers of the Noxian High Command. She extracted valuable inside information about the Noxus-Ionian conflict, earning her great favor with Demacians and Ionians alike. However, reconnaissance and surveillance was not for her. A light of her people, Lux's true calling was the League of Legends, where she could follow in her brother's footsteps and unleash her gifts as an inspiration for all of Demacia.

Well I like to go 9/0/21, focusing on the offense tree, AP, cooldown reduction and magic penetration. On the utility tree I focus improved ghost and flash masteries, increased neutral buff duration, cooldown reduction and specially mana regeneration .

Good choices:

Ghost - One of the best summoner for lux, good for escapes and specially for aim your ult.
Flash - My favorite summoner for lux, good for jukes over the walls.
Clarity - Lux with no mana? WAAT?
Ignite - Very good skill for FB, this summoner + lux passive = insane burst on early game.
Clairvoyance - Lux is a support, why not?
Teleport - Going mid? Get teleport and thiscatalyst the protector, and you are going to stay 24 hours per day on the lane.

Bad choices:

Fortify - Let the tanker get this.
Cleanse - You not gonna need this, thats why you make a treads.
Exhaust - Not a good summoner for lux, you have slow and a snare.
Heal - In my opinion, one of the useless summoners on the game, but if you are new on the champ it's viable.
Rally - Im gonna carry this game with my 2.5 atk speed and my 500 AD, Im so OP FEAR ME!!1!11!eleven!
Revive - Lux? Die? WTF? Lux desintegrate the enemy with her laz0r before he can attack her!
Smite - Lux never goes jungle, remember this.

These are the runes that in my opinion works better for lux.

Well, i focus on lux cd reduction, mana regen (specially for early game), magic pen, and health (for early game too). On marks always go with magic pen, it's core for lux. For seals i go with mana regen, but you have other choices, like ability power ( ) or cooldown reduction ( ), but i think AP isn't that good (with 9 runes you got only 5 AP) and cd reduction i prefer to have the glyph of cd reduction. On glyphs i always go with cd reduction, becouse your ult is "spammable". For the quintessenses i prefer to use health, becouse helps me a lot on the early game, but you can chose too, AP quintessenses or magic pen Quints , and i dont like to use cd reduction quints becouse with the glyphs + morello's + blue buff, your Finales Funkeln is going to have 24 seconds cd!

Skills:

Illumination (passive) - Lux passive is pretty good, specially on the early game, this skill does a good burst early on, so every time you use a skill and hit your enemy, make sure to auto-attack him, to max lux harass power. (This passive combos pretty nice with

Light binding - Lux snare, just an awesome skill, very good to snare the enemy who's trying to run, or to snare that annoying chaser, this skill +wtf is wrong with this guy?? He maxes barrier first then snare.. Be patient i'll explain.

Prismatic barrier - The most underrated lux skill.. Well, i need to tell, This skill SAVES me a hundred times.. Specially on early game. What you guys do when you have 50 HP and you are like AWWW YEAH I AM ALIVE!! And 2 seconds later you hear that ignite sound.. Well THIS SKILL makes ignite ''useless'', every time when someone uses ignite on you , you just need to cast the barrier and *BAM* here comes on the all chat: [all]MASTERTROLL: WAAAT? MI FIRE DONT KIL U?? HAKER!11!111!(remember, works for all damage over second skills). Well is because of that I ALWAYS master barrier before the snare, because lux damage is pretty good,so I dont think necessary icreases the damage of the snare. And barrier dont save only you, a lot of times I see that allied champion with 100 HP or less and someone ignite him, make sure that your teammate will fall in love with your pretty blonde *cough* I mean barrier.

Lucent singularity - Ahh, the master harass/push/annoying/brushes check/pretty bubble/best friend of your passive, skill, I ALWAYS master this skill first for obvious reasons, this skill will grant your farm, harass, annoying slow, check the map/brushes, etc.

finales funkelnFinales Funkeln - Ahh, my beloved little laz0r of massive destruction, I LOVE you! This skill is just the COOLEST skill in the universe, (and anoying too *troll face*), this skill makes lux a sniper. What happen when you see that litte annie recalling on the side of the tower? Well.. I can answer: DEMACIAAAA!11!!!1 PEEEW!!1 This skill is very good at ksing *cough* I mean supporting your team on the kills/ganks. Lux ultimate, combined with her snare and her slow, deals a good burst damage, specially on that paper champions. You can use your ultimate to get a wave of minions when they are coming to the lane, because they form a perfect line, like your ultimate, and dont worrie, just wait some few seconds and here is your ult ready again! In team battle use your ult to hit the max enemies or you can use to snipe that ranged carrier on the back of the tankers, making lux a good anti-carrier champion. Finales Funkeln is not global and is a skill shot likeso you need to train, train and train a lot to get that perfects headshots!

Skill Sequence:

Finales Funkeln R > E > W > Q.
Well, lux skill sequence it's easy to learn, always get lazOr when you reach lvl 6, 11 and 16 . First get one point on light binding, becouse helps you to get, or run from the FB. Then put one point every time you can on lucent singularity, when you cant, put the point on prismatic barrier, becouse i think the W is better than the Q, becouse putting the points on Q only icreases the damage, so its better W to save you and your teamates.

In my opinion these are lux core itens for my build.

Doran's ring - My favorite start item, pretty good start item, gives you mana regen, AP and specially Hp for more early survavibility.

Sapphire crystal + Health potions - Wanna rush catalyst the fast as you can? Another good option for lux.

Boots of speed + Health potions + Mana potion - Wanna ''run like the wind'' early on? Got this!!

Meki Pendant + Health Potions - You are rambo and spam skill like a hell? Or get this if you wanna rush tear of the goddess.

Mid Game:

catalyst the protector Catalyst the Protector - You need to rush this to stay in the lane and farm like a monster !

The Boots:

Boots of Speed - WAAAT? not yet bought your boots? get this please.
Mercury's treads - In my opinion, the best boots in the game.
Ninja Tabi - Get this if some insane melee carrier is raping you. (Not so viable for lux).
Sorcerer's Shoes - MR? Armor? what is this? I only need magic pen and Im ready to destroy who stay in front of my laz0r!! (remember, lux is made of paper, thats why I dont make this boots).
Ionian Boots of Lucidity - Well, in my opionion, this boot is useless, becouse your glyphs + Blue buff + Morello's, make your ult have 24 seconds cooldown, but is viable if you dont have the glyphs or dont like to make morello's.

After you have the boots rush this:

Morello's Evil Tome - This item is core for my build, gives all that lux need - AP, mana regen and the best, cooldown reduction!

Late Game:

Rabadon's Deathcap - You should get this as the first item on late game, this will make your laz0r an MASSIVE BEAM OF DESTRUCTION!!1!!1!11!eleven!
Rod of Ages - WAAT? finishing ages only now? Yeah! Why lost your catalyst buff? You'll get this on the lvl 18, so catalyst will ensure your mana until the max lvl. (thats why i dont get, the catalyst is responsible for my mana in all game).
Zhonya's Hourglass - Are you getting hard focus? Make the caster best friend!
Lich Bane - LICH?? Yeah! This item combo with this , and specially this !
Void Staff - WAAT? their tank have 999 magic resist!! Do this and make sure the enemy tank is gonna cry when you shot your laz0r!!

Lux Viables itens:

Archangel's Staff - WTF? Are you trolling? AA is core for lux DUMB!!1!1 Well, as I said before,, and im not rambo spammer.
Thornmail - ********!! This feeded carrier kills me in 5 seconds! Do this and make him suffer with his own brutal damage! (How about now Abyssal Scepter - Someone is with an insane AP? Got this and plus you'll get some more damage!!
Banshee's Veil - Gettin hard CC'ed? This will work very nice!
Rylai's Crystal Scepter -healht isnt enought? Got this and your skills will slow! (not so recommended for lux).
Mejai's Soustealer - Well, Pretty good item for casters, but you only can do this when you are killing/assisting like a monster. But you need to know that in league of legends the game ALWAYS can turn against you!! thas why i dont recommend you to do this, becouse lux is hard focus when farmed (late game), and if you die.. there goes your stacks. But is still a very good item, since lux's ultimate has a long range, then you can get some kills *cough* (i mean KS *troll face*) or assist your team like a insane blonde sniper (making that annoyingrecommended to do this only when you really know how to play with lux).
Moonflair Spellblade - Don't like to getI don't recommend this item, becausewill take one of your inventory slots, and have too many itens better than this, but for early game its very good, becouse its not a expensive item.
Eleisa's Miracle - The same as theA LOT, the mana regen make lux a RAMBO!11!1
But the is like the other tenacity item, for early game is good, but in late it will only take one of the spaces on your inventory. I know that some more HP + MANA regen in late helps a lot, but you need some better itens likeBut is still viable becouse its not expensive, but not recommended beouse you need to rush some important itens first like,

Early Game:

Well, Lux can go in all the lanes, Lux can solo mid, can solo top, or can go in a double lane. I prefer get the double lane for some reasons: Solo top - Lux dont have heal or something that keeps her in the lane like some of others best top soloers likeis not the impossible task, all you need is play defensive, let him push the lane, and then you farm withLux is a very decent midder, BUT, have a lot of champions that have a best lane control than Lux, likefirst of all you need to see if dont have any better champion to solo mid like awith no fear. On the lane, at lvl 1,2 and sometimes 3, you should "study" the enemy, see if he is agressive, or defensive. If he plays agressive, dont worry, just garant your farm and play defensive. If he plays defensive, try to farm AND harass him at the same time withdont forget to auto attack him, granting the50% of his HP or less if you can, and make the Lux burst combo.1- Shot your snare and make sure that snare will hit the enemy, 2- place E skill near him, 3- shoot your beutifull laz0r, 4- Auto-attack him to get a bonus damage, 5- Explode the E skill, 6- If he dont die yet, auto-attack him again. This combo probbably will desintegrate your enemy, and he cant do anything. (Wait he canThis combo works in all lanes. If you are in double lane, the strategy is "the same", see if your enemy is aggressive or defensive, but now you have to see you teammate too, if all of them are agressive and your teammate too, be aggressive, dont let your teammate fight alone, you are a support. If your teammate plays safe, play safe and grant your farm. Never forget to BUY WARDS, you are the support.

Mid Game:

On the mid game you should haveDont forget to participate on ALL ganks that you can help, becouse your snare is a good starter skill for gank, your slow garant that the enemy dont RUN TO THE HILLS!1!1!!11 and if you guys fail on ganking him and he runs with that beutifull almost empty HP bar, make sure to snipe him *trollface*. And dont forget to farm, farm and farm, becouse early/mid game is when Lux reallys "SHINES", so if you dont farm now, they will eat you alive on the late game. Wards are still important, so dont forget to buy some. Oh, your combo works really great on mid game too, becouse your AP is increasing now, so dont have fear to use your skills, remember, Lux skills dont have insane cooldowns. On mid game is when the teambattles start, well, ALWAYS stay behind your tanker or someone else, because your blonde is a fresh meat! When you see that a team fight approaches, dont be shy! "spamm" your snare and your slow to harass them, or in some cases, your snare will start the team battle, when it starts, ALWAYS use your barrier first, focusing hit the max teammates you can, and always stay far from the "big battle", so you can avoid the ultimates, likeALWAYS focus on the enemy carrier, remember, Lux is a good anti-carrier. If in the middle of the battle someone focus you, like that annoyngdont forget, your barrier is a good weapon on the team battle, keep spamming it!). Oh, and ALWAYS try to get the blue for the team battle, so your ultimate will have a ridiculous cooldown.

Late Game:

Oh **** late game.. This is when the carriers "shines", so play carefully now, your team needs their OP LAZ0R LAWL!1!11!!eleven! *cough* I mean their support. Now its the time to stop ganking that OPnever start the battle running like a crazy, Lux is a paper on late game, just shoot your snare and back. Always focus on the carry, dont forget this. Now your ult have like 24 seconds cooldown, OMG MY LAZ0R IS OP FEAR ME!!11!1!1!eleven! So KEEP SHOOTING THIS LAZ0R DUDE!! But know when to shoot please.. dont go to the jungle and ult on the wolves. Try to have your ult on ALL team battles, trust me, this laz0r make a good diference. NEVER FORGET THIS! Now its BARON TIME!! So get this big shiny laz0r and go like a ninja, and shoot this baron, oh i just LOVE this part!

AND REMEMBER, ALWAYS TRUST ON THE LAZ0R, AND THE LAZ0R WILL TRUST ON YOU!

OMG THE WORST ENEMY EVER!!

CASSIOPEIA - OMG CASS IS THE MOST OP CHAMPION EVER!! If you see a Cassiopeia on the enemy team, just quit, she will carry the game in 5 minutes. She kills you with 1

Pros:

- Good harass and lane control;
- ''Spammable'' Ultimate (24 seconds);
- Her ult makes it a sniper;
- Insane kills *cough* i mean ks; *troll face*
- Very fun character to play, becouse all abilities are skillshots;
- Good burst early game with her passive;
- Got 2 CC's (slow and a snare);
- Coolest ultimate on the game;
- Can steal Baron with her ultimate like a blonde ninja;
- She screams DEMACIAAA when shots the laz0r;
- She's a little cutie blonde.

Cons:

- Good lane control but not one of the best;
- Lux is mana hunger on the early game;
- She can snipe but her ult and all her abilities are skillshots, so you need a LOT of practice, and specially patience;
- Very squishy character the entire game;
- If farmed got hard focus;
- Vulnerable to CC's;
- It needs practice to get good placement in the team battles;
- Not the best support character;
