Hello and welcome to my Wukong Guide.
At first let me tell you something about how Wukong and I met. It wasn't love at first sight. When the spotlight released my first thought was "Oh my god - What a moron". But then I watched it again and again and I fell in love with Wukong. I'm so glad that he came out.
Or: "Wukong: If you upvote, I'll suck your banana".

In the Plague Jungles, Kong ruled as king. He could wield a unique, natural form of magic and he was driven by zealous ambition. The Plague Jungles were the ideal setting for fostering his growth - he thrived on challenges and flourished in adversity. However, when he had surmounted every obstacle and defeated every opponent, he grew restless. Worried that there was nothing left to overcome, he sought counsel with the monkey sage who lived behind the Grand Waterfall. The sage told him a tale of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and strength, bent the world to their will. Kong was overjoyed at the prospect of such worthy competition, and he immediately set out to the north, hoping that the sage's story was true.
Traveling north, he crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. Unaware of the League, he arrived outside the Institute of War where he found Master Yi in meditation. Kong was eager to test the strength of these northern warriors, so he challenged Yi to a duel. Intrigued by Kong, Yi decided to humor him. Within moments of his first strike, Kong knew he was no match for Yi. To be the best, he would need a mentor. He asked Yi to take him as a pupil and to show him the wonders of the northern lands. In return, he would honor Yi by becoming the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but only under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong'', and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. After rigorous training, Wukong joined the League of Legends to fulfill his promise and show the world the true power of Wuju.

Crushing Blow (Q-Skill)
Wukong swings his mighty staff with incredible speed, crushing his opponent. This attack deals additional physical damage and reduces the enemy's Armor for a short duration.
Wukong utilizes his cleverness to trick his foes. He becomes stealthed for 1.5 seconds and leaves an uncontrollable decoy behind that will deal Magic Damage to enemies near it after 1.5 seconds.
Wukong dashes on a cloud toward a target enemy and sends out images to attack up to 2 additional enemies near his target, dealing physical damage to each enemy struck.
Wukong's staff grows outward and he spins it around, dealing damage and knocking up enemies. Wukong gains movement speed over the duration of the spell.
I'm focusing on aggressive runes. Attack damage, attack speed, armor (penetration) and so on. I want to deal high early game damage. But to make sure that I wont die after two hits it might be usefull to get some armor runes as well.
But I think your Decoy will assure more survivability than any armor runes in the world could give.
Also attack speed is a big advantage. It makes farming a lot easier. Attack damage can be very usefull too, because dealing a lot of damage in early game (especially against squishy champions) will get you fed and thats just good.
Runes I prefer on Wukong. You're able to combine the way you like.
So you could get Greater Mark of Attack Damage, Greater Seal of Attack Speed, Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction and Greater Quintessence of Desolation.
Or you could chose Greater Mark of Attack Damage, Greater Seal of Attack Damage, Greater Glyph of Attack Damage and Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed.
I say again: You can combine them as you wish.
Note: Yellow Summoner spells could be used, but I'd go for the green one's.
Recommended Summoner Spells:
Ghost helps you running away. It makes you alot faster. Combined with Decoy it increases your chances in coming away dramaticly!
Flash also helps you getting away. But there is one thing which is better than Ghost: You're able to blink through walls. Also you're able to blink near enem minions and then just use Nimbus Strike to bring even more distance between you and your enemy.
So there are some lucky guys in this world. They always get away with 10 HP. Ignite will get you the kill.
So if you're fighting against DPS (like Tryndamere or Nocturne) make sure to use this spell on them before attacking then. Also it makse sure that you'll get the kill due it slows them.
Heal is good to use as well. You're able to survive Karthus' Ultimate even if you're low life. Or you can earn kills just by activating Heal when you're near your turret an low life. If the enemy want to tower dive they'll get a bad surprise. Also it's countering Ignite.
You are able to combine them how you want to. But make sure to use at least Ghost or Flash to run away.
Your best friend if you like harassing your enemy. Or if you enjoy being alive. Jump in using Nimbus Strike, use Crushing Blow and get away with Decoy. Also you have nice surviving abilities. If you get caught with your pants down (or simply wont survive a fight) use it to reach a bush for example. More informations about harrasing and escaping can be found in the chapter "Team Work and Tactics".
Nimubs Strike is helpfull harassing your opponents. Also it's nice if you have to fight against many minions or if you're chasing someone. If you get caught alone on your lane, and you know you got no chance, try to fool them. Run away. Then, if possible, use Nimbus Strike to "teleport" to some enemy minions. Now try to trick them again with the (S)-Trick explained below.
The ultimate gives you some usages.
If someone tries to kill to by towerdiving, activate it. It'll knock him up in the air while the turret is shoting at him. Tons of damage were dealt, as Phreak would say. And best of all: In most cases you get away wihtout any scratch.
Or you're able to escape away due to you're moving faster. But I don't really recommend wasting your ultimate on getting away. Use Decoy. It's awesome for teamfights, too, because it damages everyone around you (and knocks them up, obviusly).
Thats basically it.
Nimbus Strike at level one grants you a few advantages. At first you'll attack 3 minions using just one attack. Also it's an easy job to harass your enemys. After doing some simple math we'll recognize that it's sensible to max Nimbus Strike first. It simply deals more damage than Crushing Blow. Read more about harrasing in the chapter "Teamplay and Tactics".
Crushing Blow is one of your most important skills. Decreasing the enemy's armor is helpfull, and often assures the kill.
Decoy makes harassment complete.
There are three ways I like to build Wukong. Actually two of them are nearly the same and the last one is a more tanky build. I think I do better with the very first one. But it really depends on your own playing style and your rune setup.

Since all "Dorans"-items are very good starting items I like this one the most. You maybe recognize that you're very squishy early game and if you play greedy you'll easily feed the enemy. Thanks to Doran's Blade you'll get some additional health and a nice amount of damage.
Since you're dealing alot of damage and your survivability isn't this high I strongly recommend life steal. Well... there are lots of items giving you live steal but The Bloodthirster gives the most of it. As we all know it stacks with every minion you kill. Just make sure you dont get yourself killed too often. It'll drasticly decrease the use of The Bloodthirster.
Using this item, you actually are able to get much armor penetration. Plus: You resieve everything you wish for. Health, attack damage, cooldown reduction and, ofcourse, armor penetration. Also the passive stacks with Crushing Blow, Nimbus Strike and Cyclone. Which means, with your ulti, you'll decrease armor. The whole enemy team's armor.
Attack damage and armor penetration. Awesome. I don't really have to write something about this I think. It's self explaining, isn't it?
Dont forget to buy all elixiers. If you finished you build (if you bought all 6 items) you'll automaticly use the elixier if you buy one. But watch out! After you used all elixiers you'll be like a shining christmas-tree. This will make it easy for your enemys to see if you're using Decoy or not because your double isn't shining like you are.
But they have nice bonuses. You'll have to decide on your own if it's worth it. But let me tell you: It is.
As mentioned before, some people prefer to build Wukong off-tanky. To do so, use this build.
I think the items explain theirself. Atmogs ( Atma's Impaler and Warmog's Armor) grants damage, armor and health. Trinity Force is always good on Wukong, Wriggle's Lantern armor, life steal and attack damage.
The advantages of The Black Cleaver are mentioned above.
As you maybe recognized the sixth Item is missing. HAHA!
If you want to know why, here's the answer:
Important: You can buy these Items anywhere in the game. This is just a list of them, I wont tell you when you have to buy them, since it's kinda self explaining.
If you got the feeling everyone's running away from you, try this. It slows and it adds health.
If there are mages, these two items should give you enough magic resistance to take care of them. Choose the one you prefer.
More movement speed? Not enough critical strikes? No problem. Using this item you'll crush your opponents in seconds.
More health. Combined with Atma's Impaler you're tanky and deal tons of damage™. You gain survivability. And survivability's good, obviously.
This is a really helpful item, if you have to fight against teams dealing heave AP-damage. You gain magic resistance and attack damage which is very cool in my opinion.
At it's release I didnt think this items would be good for Wukong. But after some time, I realized AoE is a good thing. Especially in teamfights. Or do I have to mention that Ravenous Hydra deals 100% physical damage as AoE, decreasing to 20% near the edge? Yes, that's a lot. Beside all that Ravenous Hydra adds attack damage, some health regeneration and lifesteal.
These boots are great early game. More attack speed is nice but in late game you already got enough items giving you attack speed. But thats not really a provlem - just sell them.
Since some of your cooldowns are pretty high you can buy those boots to minimize the cooldowns.
Those boots give you armor. Which is awesome.
Team Work and Tactics
It's pretty easy to save allied players. Jump in using Crushing Blow and Decoy away. Normally this guarantees that they get scared and run away or that they will attack you (not really you but your double). Both is perfect if you want to save a teammate.
Also you're able to harass your enemys. How? Read in the Chapter below.
If you're getting followed by some enemys, try to get away using Decoy. But stay patience! Use it to get into bushes or to your enemys. You're invisible, yes, but only for 1.5 seconds.
After using this "trick" very often you maybe notice that your enemys are ignoring your double.
So why dont you let them think you're the double? Just press (S) to stop. It looks exactly like you're using Decoy. So in theory the enemys will think that you used your famous W-Skill and went somewhere else. But you never used it! You just pressed (S). If they recognize their fatal mistake just use Decoy.
But remember that this trick is very risky. Because some guys randomly attack your double. Which is good and bad for you.
If you're playing against Mages (like Malzahar or Lux) try to attack them starting with Decoy. It's funny and effective if Malzahar hits your double with his ultimate. During the time of his ultimate he's very vulnerable. This is your advantage.
- Your Decoy blocks Caitlyns ultimate. Because you will spawn your double right behind you. Just stay in cover. Her Ultimate will hit your double. No damage for you and a wasted Ulti for Caitlyn. It blocks Ashes ultimate as well.
- Many people are using Wukongss ulti as a damage-dealing skill. Actually I think thats wrong. You can chase guys, yeah. But you're dealing so much more damage with your Nimbus Strike and Crushing Blow. I'm using the ulti in teamfights, cause it damages everyone around. But if you have to fight 1v1 (which happens often) use your normal attack combo (E->Q and so on). Now use your ulti. You're dealing damage while your cooldowns are active. Move around so the enemy isn't able to hit you too often. After all cooldowns are gone, cancel your ulti and activate Decoy. Now go ahead and attack them. I think this is the best way to deal a high amount of damage.
How to annoy your enemys (aka good laning partners)

Jarvan IV and you should be in a bush. It's easier if they don't see it coming.
Enemy(s) are able to flee using Flash or other Flash-ish abilitys.
I dont recommend using Cage of Pain on Ezreal and Kassadin (basicly any champion equipped with a blinking ability) due it'll be easy for them to get out of this.

Jarvan IV uses Cataclysm to avoid your enemy(s) from running away. You jump in with Nimbus Strike and use Cyclone. Tons of damage are dealt and the enemy can't run away.
Deadlier Death Lotus

You can use this tactic nearly every time but I strongly recommend that your opponents hug each other (if you know what I mean).
If Katarina gets stunned her Death Lotus stops and it's easy for your enemy(s) to run away.
- How to
Katarina uses Death Lotus. You rush in using Nimbus Strike (optional) and Cyclone. Nuff said.
Slightly Slicing Maelstrom

Use it every time you want to. But Kennen really should stun your victims before you rush in.
Kennen only can stun one/two champions. If there are more you still deal tons of damage but they will flee.

Kennen stunns the opponents and uses [[Slicing Maelstrom].
You rush in using Nimbus Strike (optional) and Cyclone.
As you see every champion with an AOE (Are Of Effect) ultimate is great to lane with. There are more than these three here ( Fiddlesticks, Nunu damn even Blitzcrank has one) but I think you get the main idea. I wont write them all down.

How am I harrasing my enemy? And what are my advantages?
At first your advantages.
Harrasing your enemys means attacking them over and over without getting them any (or just some) hits on you. This makes sure that they're getting nerved after some time. Think back to Teemos mushrooms. We all love them right? (No!)
And nerved enemys are good enemys. Because they will flame each other and so on.
But there is a big disadvantage as well.
You need lots of mana in order to use your skills all the time (and thats what you have to do).
So how do you do it?
Jump into your enemy using Nimbus Strike and get away with Decoy. If you want to you can max your damage output by using Crushing Blow as well.
Just do this over and over and you can be sure that your enemy uses all his Health Potion which is good because if they got no Health Potion they have to "take the blue pill" (blink back into base) in order to get some life back. Nice time to farm for example.
If you want to harass it's important that you are maxing your Nimbus Strike at first.
Why not ...?
... play Wukong AP?
Many of my friends thought (or still think) that it is an good idea to use AP items for Wukong. So let me tell why this idea sucks really bad.
The first and main negative point is that only one ability ( Decoy) uses ability power. The others stack up with attack damage. Also I think it's an bad idea. Even if Nimbus Strike and Crushing Blow would stack up with ability power, you'd have to wait extremly long to kill an enemy due your cooldowns.
... go mid?
Playing Wukong as a mid champion isn't good as well. Let's take a look at his passive. If there are more enemy champions around your armor and magic resist is higher.
Also I think Wukong needs a good lane partner. Otherwise he's not able to deal this much damage.
My favourites are Nocturne and Lee Sin. But make sure you're able to talk to them.
... go jungeling?
The best explanaition why not to go into the jungle with Wukong is JunSupport's.
It's like playing jungle Miss Fortune. You can get through it, but it's painfully slow and won't have an impact on your enemies like viable junglers do.

I think Wukong is a great Champion. You have to use your abilities ( Decoy for example) at the right time due cooldown is pretty high. This means you have to learn how to play him. Not like Xin Zhao or Tryndamere (I know, these Champions need training as well - timing Tryndameres Ultimate could be hard).
But yes, you can play Wukong like those guys. Get in, be super awesome and make some kills and die - or not. But you're able to trick your enemys this hard. Thats what I love about him. And he's a freaking monkey!

- Wukong will now attempt to attack a target champion after using Nimbus Strike
- Cyclone Attack Damage ratio increased to 1.2 from 1
- Wukong is now properly considered melee for items and spells that differentiate between melee and ranged characters.
- Fixed a bug where Crushing Blow was shredding the target's base armor rather than total armor.
- Total attack damage ratio increased to 1.1 from 1.0
- Fixed a bug where Crushing Blow did not display critical strikes or benefit from life steal
- Casting Decoy no longer instantly shows a reduction in Wukong's mana bar to enemies
- Fixed a bug where Wukong's stealth state did not ignore unit collision

- Wukong is now pushed forward slightly when using Decoy, rather than the Decoy being pushed back from Wukong's position
