lol, don't feel discouraged. Just keep playing. I've been so close to gold so many times and keep dropping/stabilising/climbing. I'll probably get 1500 in the next 30 games (even though I only need 60 elo to get there, I know I'll have a few dud games).
Though I probably wouldn't duo with someone with a higher elo. When someone of a higher elo duos with a lower and they lose, they lose big. Like 20+ elo. However, if Mowen doesn't care about her elo (seeing as she's already gold), then it won't matter :3

This is her EU account, so these are the only games it has played. When we started I was 1210 and she was 1200. :P
Games like that just really, really piss me off. Those players didn't deserve to win just because they had a smurf and we had a troll. It sucks that every time I play all the actual worry and threat comes from my own team and there's really not that long left until the season ends.
If I can't get gold by the end of the season I'll be really upset. <.<

Yeah, I tried to point out to Luther we put up a really good fight and it was basically us vs. Eve. He said that the other team didn't deserve to win and my response was "Eve deserved to win." This game was the perfect storm of a player that could carry the other team and a player that was COMPLETELY useless on our team, there aren't going to be many games like that and I'm confident we can keep winning. :)
Obviously having someone who is a gold player queuing with you on a new account is a pretty big advantage, though I am playing support. At least it makes winning our lane a lot easier and having a fed AD Carry is a pretty big advantage. Support is probably my best role right now anyways. :P
It's best to not try to reason with Luther, he's unreasonable when it comes to losing ranked. We're going to try again next week! (I'm busy on the weekends :/)

I feel you Luther. I have lost 3 ranked games in a row and 8 in a row in general and I am feeling extremely discouraged in this game so much that I think I need to take a break. I was 1124 elo and so close to silver which is all I wanted and now I am down to 1072. May sound petty but I am very annoyed.

Yeah but I hate it when he goes all emo on me, granted he's gotten better about that over the past year :P
