[/quote] Perhaps I wasn't clear: if the top guides were what plats deemed worthy, then there'd be that chance of being guides such as gp10 Malzahar - good for pros, terrible for beginners. (I have nothing against throatslasher's malz guide, just used it as an example because it's not beginner friendly). Obviously, it'd depend on the overlookers, but it's a risk. I agree that stuff like the Karthus guide you mentioned should never get to the top guides anywhere. I also believe that on one side, Mobafire should allow anyone to write a guide, subject themselves to feedback and even learning from it; on the other, top guides should mean top quality. I'm just concerned about who gets to decide what's good and what's not, because if half the way to validate your guide will start by your elo then we might as well start splitting the forum according to this system just to make sure everyone talks to people at their gameplay level.[/quote]

All in all, I don't really care. If the system is revamped, I'll judge what I think, and if I dislike it I'll just leave.
