Besides rooting for TL, I'll be rooting for CST. I like the team, even though they won't go any higher than say 5th at best. I think Impulse won't do that great, especially if they can't communicate well from the start. If they get that going they will obviously place high.

Thanks to The_Nameless_Bard for the sig!
Impulse is such a weird composition :D
I guess C9 will still have an edge but maybe they will start slow again and will show off their strenghts later on in the split.
I feel like Team 8, Team Coast and Dignitas will struggle for sure, rooting for Winterfox and hoping to see a great split as teams have never been that interesting before in my opinion.

Everyone i talk to seems to have same top 3 C9,TL,TSM just different orders.
Out of all the under dog teams i want Team Impulse to do well im hoping they get 4th at least.
I think dig will actually be relegated and and Shiphtur will join CLG.
Also dont think T8 is as bad as everyone thinks i think they might actually come 9th or 8th.

my predictions: C9 and TL close battle for first - TSM, Winterfox, CLG and Impulse middle of the pack - Coast, Dig, T8 and Gravity getting outclassed and fighting to stay out of relegations

Pretty much my thoughts, although I'm really unsure about Winterfox and Impulse because of language barriers.

For those who have missed out: the NA scene has seen some significant changes over the last couple of months, with the only 2014 Summer Split LCS team to make no changes being C9. In addition to roster changes, some teams also changed their organisation; the team which previously went by the name of Evil Geniuses is now called Winterfox, and Team Impulse is the team formerly known as LMQ.
Also, despite Complexity being the only team failing to requalify, the expansion to 10 teams this season means the scene welcomes three new teams: Gravity Gaming (formerly known as Curse Academy), Team Coast and Team 8. Here are the full team rosters (as of today, 9 January 2015):
Counter Logic Gaming
Team SoloMid
Cloud 9
Team Liquid
Gravity
Team Dignitas
Winterfox
Team Impulse
Team Coast
Team 8
