Well they did finish first in the NA split and are the only team in NA that are competing in MSI, so there's that.
Are they better than Fnatic?
Well considering they play each other in the very first round........
I'll hedge my bets.

If I were to put my money on it I'd say TSM, but Fnatic is really unpredictable and has a unique playstyle. If TSM doesn't manage to adapt they WILL lose.

TSM will most likely finish 3rd/4th. Yes, they could possibly finish top 2. EDG is easily a contender for top 2 in the world. TSM is what? A contender for the best western team? They did amazing in the LCS. They won IEM, which I'm not really looking at because of how the bracket played out. If TSM takes 2nd I will probably never doubt a western team again. They're good, but not that good.

If Beşiktaş stops TSM (or any team for that matter) I will be overjoyed. Can you imagine the sour faces of everyone who says TSM will advance? I doubt it will happen, but it has happened before. IF TSM makes it to the finals it will be a 3:2 for whoever they face. Ah ****, I mean 3:1/3:0.

Also, I'm not going to even mention Fnatic. EU is just too unpredictable. I'll obviously be cheering on them, and hopefully they will make it. People have written off EU, with good reason, but I think they can finish 3rd/4th.

Am I the only who wants AHQ to get past groups? They're a cool team, and have potential. People write LMS teams off to fast. YFW surprised everyone at IEM and could have possibly beaten TSM there.

PS: 84,7 % vote for Fnatic and 15,3 vote for AHQ. PLS, AHQ isn't that bad. They aren't rookies, Fnatic are 4 rookies and Yellowstar

I'm hoping to see Westdoor perform, but I doubt they'll win.

I would say TSM is overall better than Fnatic, but Fnatic's playstyle kinda counters TSM's playstyle. UoL also did very well against TSM and they have a similar playstyle to Fnatic. Remember, Fnatic wasn't there at IEM Katowice, rather SK and Gambit which had clear weaknesses.

Hm... it's pretty tight between SKT and EDG, but I have a gut feeling that EDG will win (I want SKT to win, though). TSM with the upset possibility and Fnatic as a possible dark horse. I have expectations of Westdoor also.

I expect Fnatic to smacked around as we have expected from most EU teams since Season 4 Worlds.
Short Term Goals: Silver/Gold/Platinum || Long Term Goals: Diamond/Master/Challenger

?????

Season 4 worlds is just over half a year ago and since then there has only been one tournament where EU didn't show up?

Think of it like this, TSM went from losing two straight NA LCS titles to C9 3-0. And, came back to beat C9 two years straight, making it passed groups in Worlds last season where no EU team did and the best at the time lost to KaBum. Even though TSM lost 3-0 to UoL, what is UoL doing now compared to TSM winning an International Championship this season? Sitting at home, or in the crowd watching TSM play at MSI. EU is not a solid threat on the International stage this year.

Fnatic are even with TSM, in my opinion not because they're better but more so because NA only has one team that can be compared to them. They're also unpredictable, and I'm guessing there'll be one game where Huni gets free reign.
